POSITION TITLE:                    COMMUNICATION MANAGER

1) Position Summary

An essential role for taking in charge of all the strategic communication activities including PR, media, event for IWC Korea within the framework of the HQ directions and local business priorities.  His/Her main objectives are to solidify our Maison’s leadership as the core luxury timepiece brand in Korea and to maximize brand visibility/ exposure. 

 

 

2) Activities:

 

  1. Budget Management
    • Build Communication budget
    • Track and manage monthly, quarterly, yearly communication budget spending and expenses
    • Responsible for external vendors and agency procurement

 

  1. Strategic Planning & review
    • Work with MarComm Director to propose the long-term and yearly MarComm strategies across all functions
    • Activate monthly and annual MarComm plan and follow up the campaign KPIs
    • Provide Market intelligence

 

  1. Digital & Media
    • Lead media execution and KPI achievement
    • Co-work with a designated media agency

 

  1. Public Relations
    • Secure a close relationship with key media, KOL, local artist community
    • Lead the organic and paid advertorial projects
    • Maintain strong relationships with celebrities, KOLs, community (e.g. AMG, watch communities)

 

  1. Event
    • Lead annual key event implementation
    • Co-work with CRM team for client treatment
    • Act as brand gatekeeper to ensure HQ brand guidelines

 

  1. Team Leadership
    • Empower the team and be a role model based on IWC values
    • Nurture team members competency and skillsets

 

 

3) Requirement:

 

  • Min. 8 years of professional communication experience in high-end retail industry (luxury jewelry and watch, fashion is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills both in Korean and English
  • Solid local network with strong knowledge of luxury market in Korea
