For our global headquarters in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, we are looking for a



(M/W/X – 100%)


The role will encompass working with the PR Team to ensure the development of the brand awareness through the management of worldwide product and sustainability press releases, alongside with the support to the Department in providing the highest quality for all communications produced.


Start: August 2021

Duration: Fixed term contract



  • Working closely with PR Team Lead to define product PR and sustainability communication plan and key story angles
  • Collaborating with all IWC markets to facilitate execution of agreed PR plans, providing all necessary assets (texts and images)
  • Writing, reading, and proofreading press releases and PR texts or other media communications such as interviews, statements, or intranet articles for example
  • Preparation and organization of press interviews with IWC CMO and Sustainability Chair
  • Coordinate legal approval, translation work (with the help of an agency) and upload on the brand press page
  • Responding to national and international media enquiries on all product and sustainability interview requests
  • Monitor the effectiveness of materials provided to the markets and journalists to generate reports on each Product PR & sustainability campaign
  • Support the PR team on location during PR-events such as Watches and Wonders and handling of media
  • Help the PR Team in the daily business including administrative tasks (SAP, etc.)



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in journalism, communication or comparable studies
  • Very good written and spoken English, German and other languages would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of the brand and passion for both writing and watchmaking
  • First professional experience in journalism or PR is an advantage (luxury goods, fashion, advertising / agency etc.)
  • Organizational talent and strong communication skills as well as the ability to work under pressure
  • Experience in luxury industry would be a plus
  • Excellent PC skills (MS Office including Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)
