TRADE MARKETING & EVENTS MANAGER

 

MAIN PURPOSE

The Trademarketing & Events Manager is responsible for the retailer visibility (SIS/VM/Website/SM) and events execution in the assigned region, as well as supporting Marketing Director in very precise assignments.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Visual Merchandising:

  • Coordinate and implement VM animation waves in the region
  • Supervise VM implementation in Brazil done by Wholesale specialist
  • Ensure sales team provides regular updated POS pictures for HQ VM wave report and scout markets for Image improvement opportunities (external visuals, local merchandising competencies etc.)
  • Ensure turn in of VM wave reports to HQ by the deadlines given
  • Create and implement creative theme window animations/decoration in boutiques and selected POS during special occasions (F1, Father’s Day etc.)
  • Guide and support sales team with any VM requests
  • Prepare VM guidelines for POS and sales team
  • Keep brands VM tool IWD always updated
  • Monitor VM and PLV stock in Dallas and Brazil including stock cleaning twice a year or as necessary

Trademarketing:

  • Implementation of all SIS project in Brazil and LATAM/Caribbean region
  • Implement and follow up a SIS maintenance routine (lightbox system, illumination system in counters, change carpets, etc.)
  • Coordinate and implement all lightbox visual changes as per VM wave
  • Prepare SIS contracts in alignment with Marketing Director and/or Sales Managers
  • Ensure perfectly updated SIS project files on drive updated with everything related to it (plans, contracts, invoices etc.) at all time

Budget Control POS (PLV/Depreciation/VM Productions):

  • Budget control for all PLV, depreciation and VM production costs
  • Follow up on PLV availability and display material: including ordering of new elements
  • Liaise, track & order all PLV orders to POS
  • Track and control all PLV orders (Dallas/Brazil platform)
  • Forecast of annual PLV/VM material needs for the region

Capex:

  • Build Capex budget file and keep up to date (whole region)
  • Create and keep track of all SIS budgets (whole region)
  • Support Marketing director building Capex forecasts for upcoming fiscal years
  • Coordinate quarterly alignment calls/meetings with finance

Events:

  • Responsible for all VM/deco related tasks of all regional events and watch fairs in the region
  • Creation of event concepts (virtual and physical)

Retailer Visibility:

  • Update retailer websites and ensure regular SM support including update SM tracking tool

JOB PROFILE

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 

Required experience:

  • 2-3 years + Experience in the field of visual merchandising and/or trade marketing mandatory

Technical skills / abilities:

  • Intermediate to advance proficiency level of computer literacy especially Excel and Photoshop
  • Fluent in English, Spanish and/or Portuguese would be a plus

Personal skills:

  • The successful candidate will have the following personal qualities:
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills; ability to prioritize and plan work activities; ability to multi-task.

  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
