This role is an integral part of the commercial team providing a link between the sales performance across our omni-channel distribution and the implementation of clearly defined, data driven sell-out initiatives. Working on analytics across core areas of our business to facilitate real time commercial decisions, the role will require frequent analysis and subsequent report building to identify both market and brand needs presented on various levels – local, SWM and HQ. Specific strategic project management makes up a vital part of the role ensuring that performance is in line with the brand strategy.

 

Key responsibilities:

Analysis & Reporting

  • Establish, create, and maintain the sales reporting tools and framework of IWC UK. Development of automated reporting tools to analyse both Retail, Wholesale and ECOM channels. Update according to changing needs of the business.
  • Weekly / Monthly reports for network detailing the activity by channel: analyse partner inventory, stock-turn, track and evaluate SOSI by account and pos.
  • Monthly completion of retail / wholesale / ECOM business reporting – monthly submission of comments to Brand manager to be sent to HQ.
  • Analysis of monthly wholesale and retail reports including product families and references and SOSI ratios to propose data driven initiatives that will increase stock-turn and a more productive level of trade inventory
  • Manage model stock inventories across the various IWC platforms (Booster, MATCH, etc.) with Sales team. Maintain serial number accuracy within Booster for WOSG and provide tools for sales team to ensure reporting accuracy.

Pricing

  • Local point of contact for HQ regarding any pricing topics: price increases, price analysis, price positioning
  • Responsible for updating pricelist as and when any changes occur. (GBP and EUR)
  • Responsible for sending out updated price lists to all stakeholders: Wholesale, retail, ECOM partners (UK and Ireland)

Stock Allocations & Forecasting

  • Maintain the Model stock in Retail, analysing the model stock on a monthly / quarterly basis and updating it where necessary to reflect changing sales performance trends
  • Weekly analysis of wholesale partner stock reports; propose stock optimisation and replenishment by POS vs retail sales.
  • Monthly analysis of aged/ phased out stock – suggest strategic solutions for clearing this stock to Sales team and HQ.
  • Weekly allocation of HQ stock deliveries with Sales team; prepare the replenishment proposals for the sales team to action.
  • Yearly preparation of sales forecast for business plan and monthly splits by channel and product category according to the sales objectives. Subsequent quarterly review and update of splits for business control.

Strategic projects and business development

  • Work closely alongside UK Brand Director and Regional Directors on all strategic projects across Retail, Wholesale and ECOM channels in order to help drive growth in the UK network.
  • Production of analysis and subsequent presentations for Richemont / SWM related to growth projects / acceleration plans and Richemont / SWM market visits.
  • Production of analysis and subsequent presentations for IWC HQ market visits.
  • Conduct analyses relating to the feasibility of strategic projects, providing qualitative and quantitative assessments. For example: door openings and closures, network evolution, internalisations, internal and external BTQ openings.
  • Manage Special Projects as requested by the Brand Director. Transversal Sales / Marketing Special Projects as they arise.
  • Work closely with IWC UK Finance on topics as and when needed – P&L analysis / modelling, Capex modelling, as required.

Business planning

  • Manage the production of the annual Business Plan (Sales Topics) and subsequent follow ups, working closely alongside UK Brand Director, Regional Directors, Head of Marketing and IWC HQ.
  • Weekly monitoring of Wholesale, Retail and ECOM sales performance against BU and LE sales objectives, in order to assist the upload of weekly sales forecast in the IWC HQ Sales Dashboard
  • Prepare brand packs for meetings with wholesale partners based on the topic of the meeting and attend where required.
  • Work with the Marketing & Communications team to analyse the effectiveness of brand, product and partner campaigns as well as the impact of digital initiatives (brand / partnered social, digital & e-com campaigns) on sales performance.
