Demand Planning & Logistics Manager

(Permanent Full-Time)

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

The Planning & Logistics Manager will oversee the shipment activities, from the vendors to the RDC, monitor and update all relevant dunhill departments on the shipment status, leading the external and internal functions to achieve the delivery targets. They will be responsible for designing the retro planning for the distribution from the vendors IDN to the store and will support the Supply Chain Director in the SAP project in relation with the for future enhancement and for the implementation of internal process and tools.

 

Direct distribution of the goods in order to ensure that the correct product is delivered at the correct point in a timely manner, in close cooperation with the Group Logistic team and the Production team. Support and control the stock, transportation, warehousing and monitoring the flow of the goods.

 

Ensure the product are allocated to the regions as per the business priorities and in line with the global stock target. Define and fine tune KPI of externalised logistics, setting high standards and liaising with the group share service and the providers to ensure the expected service level and constant improvement. Define and implement the production strategy to improve efficiency and cost savings were necessary and according to the KPI’s.

 

For the permanent and carry over products (material and finished products), determine stock level to guarantee the service to markets and minimize the stock cost, based on the sales forecast by MM and PM, distribution lead time, economic order quantity. For the permanent and carry over product (components and finished products) monitor the stock level and launch production lot accordingly. For accessories, metal component, buttons, etc. determine and maintain the target stock, calculate the reorder point/safety stock and launch production accordingly;

 

  • Monitor together with the Procurement team, the stock of material and component at the vendors plant for seasonal by the end of the season and for carry over, support and drive PD and PM to optimize the use of the stock
  • For the seasonal, collect the buy budget annual and seasonal, elaborate by category, floor sets, enabling the Procurement team di discuss and split by vendor and plan the capacity

 

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Strong background within Logistics, Supply Chain & Demand Planning
  • Prior experience within the retail, luxury or fashion industry would be highly beneficial
  • Knowledge and understanding of warehouse and demand planning tools
  • Experience working in in an international and fast past environment
  • Highly analytical with the ability to offer solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management capability - proven track record of influencing change and managing the 3PL negotiation
  • Strong numerical and analytical aptitude - very commercial and performance driven
  • Experience of Anaplan & SAP would be highly beneficial
  • Learning agility - capable of picking up new processes and systems quickly
  • Strong and efficient organisational skills - excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to communicate with different stakeholders from a variety of cultures and backgrounds 
  • French speaking language skills would be advantageous
