Graphic Designer

(Permanent, Full-Time)

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

As part of a growing department that drives and services all brand visual output, dunhill are looking for a Graphic Designer to join the Creative Studio team. The role will be integral in reporting directly to the Global Content Director and being the brand ambassador to drive all brand design output to the next level.

 

The role will oversee and manage the guidelines of the brand ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand relevance, image and visual is communicated through all our visual content.

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing and delivering across all graphic design output by the brand. This will span across print and digital design. Some specific day-to-day responsibilities will include the below:

  • Bringing to life the brand image through design and execution
  • Developing highly creative, engaging and unique concept & ideas to design and execution of visual and communication assets
  • Developing high level printed materials, following the printing process from beginning to the end, including colour proofing, sample proofing and quality check
  • Design development and the delivery of multifaceted communication materials in print, packaging, digital and other mediums
  • Designing and managing all requests from e-commerce, marketing, press, VM/retail and design teams
  • Collaborating with the Content Director to drive concepts through to design executions
  • Creating detailed overview decks to be shared internally or to brief externals
  • Creating and implementing successful print and digital media campaigns
  • Creating layouts, guidelines and managing global assets for each season
  • Driving design development and delivery across print/collateral, digital and motion design
  • Growing and maintaining relationship with suppliers
  • Nurture and mentor junior members of the team, as well as overviewing and approving all graphic assets produced

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Experience in Graphic Design
  • Previous experience in luxury industry is appreciated
  • Strong portfolio of work including layout, typography, branding and motion
  • Strong knowledge in of print and digital design process
  • Ability to make connections between what’s going on in the world and interpreting technologies into designs
  • Curated network of skilled designers, Illustrators, CGI artists, video editors, printers and packaging suppliers
  • All Adobe CS (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, Lightroom, XD)
  • Motion Graphic Software: After Effects, Premier Pro
  • Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)
  • Presentation Software: Microsoft PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Experience in 3D software would be considered as bonus - not necessary
  • Typography, Branding and Packaging
  • Editorial Design - campaign layouts and guidelines
  • Excellence knowledge of print process and production
  • Image retouching & video editing
  • Digital User Experience: wire-framing, process flow would be considered as bonus - not necessary
  • Digital Front end: CSS, HTML, Javascript, would be considered as bonus – not necessary
  • Good understanding of photography, filming, retouching and video editing
  • High visual aesthetic and experience of lifestyle or fashion brands
  • Ability to work under pressure and long hours without compromising performance or accuracy in a deadline-orientated environment
  • Pragmatic proactive, fast and methodical approach to work and quick solutions driven
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and passionate attitude and approach to creative ideas
  • Excellent on craft and detail
  • Organized, able to plan and manage time and meeting deadlines
  • Creative thinker with ability to push ideas
  • Ability to work across multiple projects
  • Strong file management – ensure all final assets are saved, categorized and accessible from anyone in the company
  • Strong communication skills, pro-active and motivated
  • Strong understanding of campaign development and executions
