Ecommerce Merchandiser

(Permanent Full-Time)

 

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

 

The Ecommerce Merchandiser will help maximise sales and opportunity by assisting in the commercial trading of the sites (dunhill.com, Mr Porter, Yoox) whilst building relationships with the teams both internally and externally.

 

There will be many exciting opportunities for the right person as .com business and partner websites have strong ambition to grow and we welcome new talent to help us achieve our goals while always challenging the status quo.

 

  • Responsible for the ecommerce buy from conception to execution, drawing on data and analysis to ensure website and partners reach full potential on different platforms
  • Responsible for maintenance of products range, reviewing, analysing and managing the sales and stock levels weekly, monthly and long term. Ensuring bestsellers are consistently fulfilled and slow sellers removed from the website where applicable
  • Ensure all online product launches and campaigns are delivered on time with the correct product information across digital channels, ensuring the buying and merchandising strategy is reflected online, appropriately influencing where the online experience may differ slightly
  • Work closely with the Senior Trading Manager on commercial strategy to drive sales, conversion and efficiency of the .com business
  • Manage visual merchandising of category pages to optimise sales and performance while consistently thinking of the user journey and any improvements that can be made
  • Understanding profitability within the category areas and across all websites. Using this knowledge to influence wider multichannel teams on appropriate course of action
  • Own the reporting function by analysing and producing existing daily, weekly and monthly sales reporting but also creating new reports or updating existing reports for where you see there is a business need
  • Manage digital asset production timeline working closely with marketing teams to deliver on time and to brief while supporting all activities with planning and product suggestions
  • Be responsible for all key data points in regards to product including but not limited to data files, global pricing, stock & stock allocation and product descriptions
  • Work closely and cross departmentally within the business and also with external partners
  • By drawing on experience consistently identify new and better ways of doing things to add value, streamline processes and create new opportunities

 

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

 

  • Experience of a similar role at a comparable level – approx. 3-4 years
  • Experience of both wholesale and retail merchandising – ecommerce exposure is preferable
  • Solid insight into the competitor market – strong numerical & analytical skills
  • Previous exposure to multi-regions/international territories
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint – understanding of website management tools
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude
  • Curiosity - willingness to learn and keen to ask questions
  • Ability to prioritise and be agile to the needs of the business
  • Ability to build relationships across all levels and cultures
  • Excellent influencing skills across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to present information and ideas clearly
  • Confident dealing within a fast paced working environment
