Visual Merchandiser & Events Executive

MAIN PURPOSE

 

  • Implement Global window displays and in store installations across the Region in line with  global guidelines
  • Implement VM product display in stores(merchandising and styling) for retail and wholesale boutiques using global directives and following annual calendar
  • Provide product/sales and VM training for the store staff to aid the visual identity of the store & enhance sales performance and client experience
  • Follow up and implement events as per calendar and up to standard of the house

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Required to travel almost quarterly for display implementations, in addition to product & sales training sessions

Additional travelling may be required during events in markets and trainings with HQ

 

VISUAL MERCHANDISING (60% of workload)

 

Displays

  • Liaise with Retail/Wholesale/Marketing Managers on a regular basis to align on store needs/sales situation/marketing calendars to plan displays accordingly
  • Plan & Execute display revamp plans (in stores and at events) throughout the region
  • Build a sustainable VM Community in stores and maintain interactive communication for prompt display activations/changes
  • Train in-store VM community to maintain high standards of display at all times
  • Plan and execute VM plans for events in alignment with concerned departments
  • Plan and order POS material for all new and existing stores
  • Provide/refurbish necessary tools for displays in boutiques and in events
  • Maintain VM standards for the MEA Region through Training and open communication.

Windows

  • Ensure timely implementation of window animations with guidelines shared with boutiques
  • Creating and adhering to necessary project timelines for all animations
  • Planograms, Reports & Budgets
  • Create planograms, align & share with concerned parties prior to display revamps
  • Ensure monthly VM reports (including analysis & visibility figures) are communicated to marketing & communications manager after every revamp
  • Guarantee timely reports are sent through to HQ
  • Adhere to budgets on projects handled
  • Guarantee timely and thorough post-event reports

 

ADMINISTRATION

  • To ensure all forms and procedures are used correctly, and follow through to completion.

 

HEALTH & SAFETY

  • To be aware of and follow all company rules and HSE legislation.

 

STOCK AND SECURITY

  • To be alert to the possibility of theft and follow Company procedures to minimise the opportunity for theft.
  • To be aware of Company and Store Security procedures and ensure they are followed at all times.

 

GEOGRAPHICAL AREA UNDER RESPONSIBILITY

  • MEITAR (Middle-East, India, Turkey, Africa & Russia)

 

JOB PROFILE

 

Education

  • Educated up to Bachelor’s degree (Essential)

 

Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience, exposure in luxury goods/luxury fashion industry
  • Qualification in service fashion (Preferred)
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (Preferred)
  • MS. Office savvy (Essential)
  • Technical skills / abilities
  • Responsible and pro-active with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team (Essential)
  • Administrative/logistical skills: Following budgets, administrative systems, shipping of VM/training materials    (Essential)
  • Technical and production knowledge on window installations (Preferred)
  • Experience in and shows aptitude to planning, following, implementing and adapting product display directives. (Essential)

  • Good human relation skills to build relationships with external suppliers, business partners and staff (Essential)
