As part of International Merchandising team, you define the strategy and priorities for the collection, connecting the creative and financial product requirements with the market needs, trends and client dynamic.

 

You are the keeper of the right execution and implementation of Merchandising global strategy in regions, working closely with the regional Merchandisers, Product Marketing & Studio, Supply Chain, VM, Commercial & Communication.

 

 

Collection:

Plan cohesive and balanced assortment that reflect the creative/product direction, respond to consumer/regional demands and ensure the highest potential Return on Investment (ROI).

 

  • Strategize with local markets to identify market needs, provide performance analyze (quantitative & qualitative) of previous seasons and make tactical recommendations for increased profitability and new collection development;
  • Lead the full range planning of New Season and Permanent collections;
  • Be involved with the product and development team from design stage to final product, sharing early sell in potential & recommendations in terms of size, functionalities, target retail price, material etc. ;
  • Review global pricing and regional positioning every season with Product and Commercial team, taking into account, market needs, brand positioning & competition;
  • Create the Merchandising overview and build the monthly product launch plan, in phase with strategic commercial moments within the year;
  • Collaborate with Retail, Communication, Digital & VM team to ensure 360 alignment for  impactful launch ;
  • Provide adequate merchandising support and deliverables (excel, presentation, etc.) for the collection presentation and feedbacks

 

 

Open-to-Buy (OTB) Management & Seasonal Forecast

  • Define forecast and sell-in forecast calendar for HQ (cross-department) and regions;
  • Identify a strategy per collection at global level,  define and manage sell-in budgets and global sell-in FCST accordingly ;
  • Manage the seasonal and yearly OTB by region aligned with the pre and in-season forecast;
  • Lead regional sell-in definition during the planned timeline, review and challenge region to ensure alignment toward global strategy, store clustering and client targets;
  • Ensure accuracy of database (forecast) at all times in an efficient and timely manner;
  • Coordinate with regions and sell administration creation of seasonal orders (implementation & bulk)

 

 

 

Stock Management:

  • Closely collaborate with Supply to secure in time delivery of Seasonal collection, provide clear priorities when arbitration is needed;
  • Continuously monitor Permanent availability and coverage, feed Supply with qualitative input on projection/catalogue based on trend and new launches in season ;
  • Analyze weekly regional Sell in / Sell out & Permanent coverage and take trading actions to maximize seasonal sell through target and optimize stock rotation;
  • Manage product lifecycle in collaboration with product team and finance for end of life;
  • Manage the store capacity planning and guarantee that, store clustering, presentation stock and minimum stock for permanent offer is up to date

 

 

Sales Analysis

  • Support quantitative & qualitative analysis for weekly and monthly reporting ;
  • Development client/product analysis in collaboration with the CRM manager;
  • Ad hoc analysis for management review, global meeting and specific projects

 

 

Profile:

  • 5-7 years of experience in the fashion industry
  • Excellent level of English and French
  • You have a strong appeal to Fashion and trends
  • Open-minded, motivated and pro-active
  • Result-driven with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Computer skills including Excel
  • First management experience & International exposure is a plus
