MAIN PURPOSE

The position is expected to define, propose and continuously animate the Japan retail network to reach sales and qualitative targets. Also, empower boutique members to ensure boutiques net margin by the control of the budgets and respect processes and policy.

It is significant for the position to convey the sprits of respecting the environment, diverse cultures and the advancement of women to all the retail staffs during daily training program.  In addition to achieving the sales targets, retail managers should lead staffs to be aware of their responsibilities of representing the Maison. Through the delicate communications with our clients, retail field is playing the most important role to spread our support for social or environmental improvement. Retail manager must take the initiatives in encouraging all the team to realize the significance of it.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Ø  Instill a strong culture of both service and productivity

Ø  Responsible for all direct stores Sales target, as well as store P&L / contribution

Ø  Recruit, develop and grow store population, with focus on Boutique Managers.

Ø  Be a brand ambassador in Japan. Build strong relationship with VIC clients, landlords, department stores, fashion community in Japan.

Ø  Plan and control sales budgets of supervising boutiques to achieve targets.

Ø  Manage boutique staff and ensure all staff has good sales skills and motivations to achieve sales targets and provide good customer service. Align with brand service standards and meet service targets in Mystery Shopping.

Ø  Manage all negotiations with department stores on terms and conditions.

Ø  Co-work with department stores in regards to sales events and sales trends, and maintain good relationship and conduct the continuous dealings.

Ø  Collaborate with other departments such as merchandising, VMD, marketing, logistics, human resources, in order to manage boutiques in all aspects. (sales, boutique conditions, CRM, employees etc.)

Ø  Communicate and making report to both Japan CEO and HQ

Ø  Analyze the market, set up strategic plan and execute to reach target budget

 

REQUIREMENTS

Ø  3-5 years store manager experience in Retail industry. Luxury brand experience preferable.

Ø  Deep understanding of retail business and fashion and department store industries.

Ø  Fluency in Japanese, English is a plus.
