JOB TITLE Retail Manager
REPORTING TO Managing Director
MAIN PURPOSE
Build a culture and obsession of enjoyment, accountability, creativity, solution focus for Chloe Korea’s retail operation & learning strategies - driving and tracking them, including sales development, talent development, and retail environment improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibility 1: Sales development
- Understand the philosophy / principles / culture of Chloe and instills in the retail teams
- Work with managing director and set commercial targets
- Work with boutique managers to ensure success of strategic execution by managing qualitative and quantitative KPIs (clients, sales, service, experts etc)
- Analyzes variance against set targets regularly and take appropriate actions
- Analysis of staff sales performance to propose action plan & objectives
- Communicate and work closely with merchandising and communication teams regarding activation, training, marketing and promotional activities
- Works closely with the merchandising to ensure that each boutique is stocked with an ideal depth and width of merchandise
- Support merchandising and communication team by sharing competition activities
Key responsibility 2: Talent development
- Identify / build / develop future LEADER for Chloe Korea and high performing team
- Tailor made coaching / development for individual team member
- Prepares and discusses with the managing director to devise succession planning for the retail teams in the short and long term
Key responsibility 3: Retail environment improvement and BTQ Maintenance
- Support team members for all operational tasks
- Continuously seek for retail improvements that benefit client and employee experience by keeping abreast of “what is out there” in terms of retail innovation and other best practices
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in retail operations and retail training
- Role models as an ambassador of Chloe in terms of behavior and grooming, whether with internal or external customers, online or offline, thereby inspiring the retail teams to do the same.
- Demonstrate ability to drive business KPIs through retail programs and training development
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Strong leadership skills including empathy, caring, coaching and motivating
- Resourceful, curious, dynamic, and proactive
- Strong numeric sense and great attention to details
- Good English communication skills
- Good computer skills
