HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Planning & Supervision:
- Responsible for making Strategic recommendations that enhance productivity & ensure that qualitative and quantitative targets are constantly achieved.
- Define and prepare, and execute 3 Year Plan as well as yearly Strategic Plan to meet the strategic ambitions of the Maison in UK, in coordination with CJI
- Organize / structure the workshop to meet the needs in a most optimized fashion
- Prepare, coordinate and manage Operations
- Ensure coordination with CJI (training, compliance, service plan, quality, etc.) and act as a local interface for Customer Service.
- Monitor P&L of the workshop with strong control over T&E budgets and expenses related to sub-contracting.
Key Point of Reference:
- Implement and share with International and local management a monthly reporting on performance regarding volume, quality, lead times and costs, in addition to the daily operational follow-ups.
- Ensure coordination with Local Client services team and Boutiques
- Liaise with Corporate Management, Boutiques and end clients to provide technical explanations upon request.
- Liaise and collaborate with International Workshops to train, share best practices and consistently update benchmarks (competitors, vendors).
Team Management:
- Responsible for creating a positive and united work environment amongst all staff by motivating and supporting the team.
- Regularly conduct team meetings, ensuring that staff is aware of the tasks, targets, products, service knowledge, updates, and client successes/opportunities.
- Partner with CJI and Client services team to identify training needs and coaching opportunities for the staff, so to ensure / guarantee a level and technical competences in line with the international standard
- Share department news and updates with Client Services team and boutique teams
- Perform administrative and HR tasks including but not limited to scheduling, payroll and overtime management
- Lead the performance management process through regularly scheduled individual meetings with the workshop staff, including biannual performance review in partnership with Client services team and CJI
- Actively recruit and maintain talent pipeline
- Implement all company rules to guarantee Health and Safety as well as Security
Jewellery Production:
- Responsible management of the Jewellery Production activities: Set for You (MTO) and special orders
- Manage Production Plans and forecast
- Define, create a process and Coordinate stones buying according to CJI rules
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Strong and demonstrable management experience overseeing a team of Managers and technical experts.
- A level of technical expertise in Jewelry is highly advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills, including verbal and written communication.
- Organizational and people management skills.
- Experience of navigating and leading teams through change
- Analytical, project management skills, and the proven ability to provide solutions.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast paced work environment.
