Our mission is to accelerate Cartier digital transformation with the adoption of cloud technologies, in a secure way.


The purpose of this role is to reinforce our central data team and enable us to secure, implement and industrialize data projects on our cloud platform (Google Cloud). You will be in charge to identify proper resources and services to be used for a given project, crafting the most adapted architecture, and deploying the project as planned and in line with Group governance and security guidelines.



In collaboration with our data scientists and other major stakeholders, you will build data pipelines on our cloud platform and will contribute to bring our data projects to life.

  • Implement our data engineering, machine learning and API projects. This includes but is not limited to cloud architectures, containers, serverless, pipelines and code reviews
  • Define and implement relevant controls to secure cloud workloads and associated processes
  • Promote an automation approach to ensure consistent and transparent execution (test automation, code review etc.)
  • Be a trusted liaison with Cartier product teams, Richemont Cybersecurity and Group Technology teams
  • Be autonomous and proactive; able to understand functional and technical requirements, identify gaps and suggest improvements



Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of relevant industry experience in a major cloud platform
  • Hands-on technical expertise in Security, Architecture, Automation, Integration, and Deployment (DevOps methodology)
  • Coding experience in one or more general purpose languages (Java, Python)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to share technical ideas in business-friendly language


Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in Google Cloud Platform
  • Good understanding of Google Cloud architecture from foundation blocks to workload types
  • Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code automation with Terraform and Git
  • Knowledge of Apache Airflow / GCP Composer, DBT and container technologies
  • Good understanding of SDLC processes (Agile, DevOps), cloud operation and support (ITIL) service delivery with hands-on ability to implement best practices or suggest improvements
  • Have one or more cloud certifications such as Google Cloud Data Engineer and/or Google Cloud Architect
