Job Overview

Playing a pivoting role across departments, the Data Analyst is responsible for building robust and sustainable analytics work based on business needs and priorities to support and accelerate corporation decision making. The scope of Data Analyst goes from data mining and acquisition, data modeling, data visualization and overall maintenance of the overall architecture.


Key Responsibilities


i. Reporting & Dashboarding using PowerBI

  • Cross-department collaboration to translate business/function requirements and needs into analytics terms and into a sustainable data model. Recommend suitable metrics and visualizations.
  • Identify data-sources required to build the analytics work matching business/function requirement, implement appropriate data cleaning workflows.
  • Build data-model, validate its integrity with the business owner / function expert. Produce clear documentation defining the architecture of the model.
  • Build the visualization as co-designed with the end users, provide guidance and suggestions to build and efficient and self-explanatory dashboard.
  • Animate loops of feedback – fixes – optimization with end users, to keep the dashboards close to recent needs.


ii. Automation and Data integrity

  • Set up and maintain automated data processes
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
  • Implement processes and checks enabling the pro-active identification of discrepancies between data-source information and dashboard-information
  • Report to manager flaws and irregularities in data


iii. Migration to Looker

  • Play an active role in the migration the Dashboards currently publish on PowerBI Premium workspace to Looker
  • Identify together with the business owner / function experts the reports to be migrated/created into Looker and the ones to remain on PowerBI
  • Define with HQ Data office team the migration roadmap, as well as roles & responsibilities into the project


Candidate Requirements and Qualifications


  • Graduate from Computer Science Degree
  • 1 year in a similar role would be a plus
  • Expertise in PowerBI & DAX
  • Strong knowledge in SQL (LookML would be a strong plus)
  • Business level English
  • Strong analytical skills and a self-starter


Eligibility to the VIE PROGRAM

  • Candidates between 18 and 28 years old
  • Nationals of Member States of the European Economic Area (EAA), who have fulfilled their national service obligations
