CHALLENGE & MISSION
You are a vital part of our Leadership & Talent Development team working to develop, implement & execute recruitment strategy for our organization. You will be a window of Cartier International Recruiting team to collaborate with university engagement and all other kinds of projects that HQ is leading.
Your day to day consists of screening & qualifying potential candidates, partnering with our HR Business Partners & Hiring Managers to provide job market awareness, and proactively building a talent pipeline, demonstrating end-to-end ownership of the full lifecycle recruitment process. Networking, building relationships and creating a unique client centric experience are at the core of our talent principles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnering
- Develop & maintain relationships with Hiring Managers to understand their needs, create an interview matrix, provide market feedback, and consistently communicate updates throughout the interview process.
- Consult, educate and guide Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to be our ambassadors.
- Work closely with our HR Business Partners to create recruitment strategies by function to minimize time to fill and spend and maximize quality of hires. Establish and constantly update the most efficient & effective process to place the best talent for your customers in timing manner.
- Engage, manage, and partner with external vendors such as recruiting agencies to realize successful placements.
- Collaborate with local & global HR members to lead / participate in Projects and meetings.
Executing
- Lead & conduct intake meetings to understand vacancies, share potential profiles from pipeline, define the interview cadence, and share labour market intelligence. Consult and support Hiring Manager and HRBP to create the attractive JD in the current market.
- Interview potential candidates for current vacancies, conduct exploratory calls to identify high-potential candidates, and establish & maintain relationships with referrals. Provide fruitful candidate experience via your interviews.
- Provide Hiring Managers with short list of candidates.
- Attend networking events & job fairs to establish brand awareness and visibility.
- Make sure to proceed all recruitment processes without any compliance risk and to follow the stipulated guidelines/processes including candidate data management in the system. Lead hiring activities to support your internal customers in case the Hiring Managers are not experienced in recruitment.
- Lead or co-lead special projects such as New Grads recruitment, Employment of people with disabilities, recruiting process improving, etc. in line with the business needs.
Report & Data Management
- Track and communicate interviews, placements, retention, and agency submissions & spend.
- Utilize & maintain the data on the system.
- Keep detailed notes & submissions on candidates, facilitating the interview/hiring process, and building our talent pools.
- Present and/or update to our global stakeholders and local management members including Talent Management Senior Manager on recruitment status.
Research
- Proactively build talent pipelines utilizing our web site, social media, job boards, employee referral program and field recruitment.
- Understand and communicate labour market: trends, regional compensation benchmarks, and talent availability.
- Identify & recommend innovative recruitment initiatives, best practices, and digital enhancements.
Team Management
- Coach and develop 1 External Talent Acquisition Partner as your team member to maximize team capability.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 7+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience. (In-house recruitment experience is preferred)
- Recruitment in retail industry experience is preferred.
- People management experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills, ability to engage candidates.
- Experienced and comfortable with all online & offline sourcing channels, social media platforms
- Solid networker with strong contacts in the market
- Native level Japanese is mandatory and Business level English.
