MAIN PURPOSE

Under the direct supervision of the Supply Chain Director, the Watches & Accessories Supply Chain Manager overlooks at the full scope of operation and supply chain, related to Watches, Leather Goods, Objects, Fragrance and Leather strap categories.
In his/her role, the Manager ensures that supply, allocation decisions, stock targets and operational flows are in line with company direction. As a playing manager, the Manager will need the agility to constantly switch between hands on topics, and helicopter view supervision.
In his/her team, the Manager will gather all activities from demand, supply and distribution planning, together with execution (store planning) functions.
Thank to his/her analytics skills, as well as his/her expertise of the business & product category, the Manager will provide insights timely, and recommendations to both the Directors and other internal stakeholders.
Always keeping efficiency and optimization in mind, the Manager will lead innovation, change and continual improvement for Watches & Accessories Supply Chain, but also to other departments within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

a.    Demand, Supply & Distribution Planning. Together with Merchandiser team.

  • Deliver rolling 12 months sales forecast, based on commonly shared assumptions, revise it in cooperation with HQ teams when changes are applied to underlying assumptions.
  • Size and monitor the different stock targets, at RDC, BTQ and POS level.
  • Size the sales forecast on product novelties, together with Marketing.
  • Define network strategy, together with Commercial teams, Marketing and VM to ensure coherence between supply and display.
  • Define fair packages, in line with commercial strategy.
  • Define flows and processes together with Commercial to implement a coherent and efficient New Retail strategy.

 

b.    Stock Management. Together with Store Planning team

  • Ensure optimum stock availability at the BTQ and POS level. 
  • Leveraging dynamic reporting tool, permanently measure stock performance, and execute stock balancing between internal BTQ when required, in line with the typology strategy. Monitor stock rotation at POS level.
  • Monitor stock returns, to have them executed in time, and in the most efficient way for the teams involved
  • Follow up client firm orders, ensure a timely and accurate response.
  • Primary point of contact for Travel Retail.

  
c.    Analytics, Intelligence, Projects

  • Design and build analytics works, to deepen the understanding of the business and its evolution.
  • Leverage analytics tools to build exception reports, to identify gaps at the earliest stage.
  • Help the team with tools and templates, to improve the overall efficiency, and maximize the time allocated to value added tasks.
  • Proactively work with HQ on Supply Chain initiatives, feed a permanent feedback loop to raise local opinion, views and insights.

 

d.    Team Management

  • Team members development, empowerment and upskill
  • Create opportunities of evolution between product categories and departments, to enable exchanges of experiences and skills, while keeping the team dynamic.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain 
  • Graduate from Engineer or Business school.
  • IT savvy
  • High Level on Excel, PowerBI, DAX and SQL are a plus
  • Fluent English, Japanese & French are a plus 
  • ERP experience, SAP experience 
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, positive attitude, ability to plan and able to work under pressure
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen and commercially driven
  • Team player with communicational skills
