REPORTING TO                                GLOBAL PROJECT LEAD

 


MAIN PURPOSE

A focus on content creation and transversal communications, working in close collaboration with the Project Manager, this role will ensure all project deliverables, milestones and deadlines for Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025 Women’s Pavilion are being met and executed within the allocated budgets complying to both company policies and procedures as well as local regulations.

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee master schedule for interior content and operations along with Project Managers
  • Work with the global project lead to develop global communications strategy, brand identity and content for the Women’s Pavilion; includes crafting a holistic storyline structure for the interior journey and resolutions room
  • Develop project calendar and project plans, coordinate with relevant Cartier Japan departments and team members to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
  • Support Global Project Lead on developing assets, presentations and official documents for internal and external key stakeholders; includes translation of English/Japanese materials
  • Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing pertinent information
  • Partner with PMs and oversee budget controls and accurate tracking of global communications budget spend-to-date and YOY budget flow management; liaise with Finance teams
  • Collaborate with Internal Communications for communications planning to help maximize employee engagement and strong staff participation surrounding the Expo
  • Attend monthly Expo Association meetings in Osaka in rotation with PMs

 

 

Necessary profile:

  • Minimum 5-7+ years of experience in creative communications and digital media
  • Extensive experience in brand communications and project management (preferably in PR/Events organization and/or global/luxury industry) with capacity to lead projects independently
  • Strong communication skills – Ability to articulate thoughts and express ideas/mechanics in a clear, logical way
  • Negotiation skills – capacity to get the best quality at the best expense, capacity to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Creativity, pro-activity, ownership, flexibility, finesse skills and team player
  • Language: Japanese (native level), English (native level).
  • Advanced PPT and Excel skills required
  • Video editing skills preferred
