MAIN PURPOSE

 

As Cartier Japan E-Commerce Manager, you will lead all aspects of the growth initiatives concerning www.cartier.jp, both as a brand site and as an e-commerce site. You are expected to spearhead from strategic planning to execution, in order to maximize both online sales and client experience with the end goal to build Cartier’s “Digital Flagship” which provides best-in-class omnichannel client journey. You will report to Head of E-Commerce and have 2 subordinates including 1 permanent and 1 non-permanent.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Drive E-commerce Growth
    • Develop E-Commerce growth strategy aligned with the maison’s strategy & branding; execute the plan while ensuring best-in-class customer experience
    • Develop and manage E-Commerce calendar in line with the global and local strategy and objectives ensuring growth, visibility, and cross-functional alignment
    • Lead E-Commerce trade activities: forecast, analyze, and report business performance to take effective actions
    • Liaise with Cartier call center team; provide effective tactics and support to maximize the sub-channel’s opportunity
    • Lead cross-functional projects related to online business
    • Manage budgets for projects and operations, and leverage budget for better ROI
    • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth or threats to the business

 

  1. Animate Web Contents
    • Plan and execute website contents in collaboration with Marketing/Communication to timely go-live contents including products, branding, and maison’s key messages; analyze and report performance for future actions
    • Design and lead contents-related projects to inspire customers before & after boutique visits, leveraging available branding assets and tools and/or introducing new

 

  1. Elevate E-Commerce growth capabilities
    • Strengthen e-merchandising capability; collaborate with Marketing/Supply Chain/Merchandising to maximize the business opportunity; collaborate with Marketing/HQ to manage the processes around online catalog effectively and efficiently
    • Elevate team capabilities in acquisition; collaborate with Communication/Media to maximize traffic and drive customer acquisition; manage search engine marketing influencing Media

 

  1. Omni Channel Client Development & Client Experience Enhancement
    • Design and execute omni-channel client development strategy working closely with Client teams
    • Act as the representative from E-Commerce team to assist omni-channel client experience improvement and sophistication, working as a part of cross-functional team
    • Provide quality insights in omni-channel related projects to promote elevated online and offline client experience, as a key internal advocator for digital initiatives

 

  1. Team & Partnership Management
    • Supervise E-Commerce growth team members to achieve objectives
    • Hire and develop the best-in-class E-Commerce talents to maximize team performance
    • Build and maintain effective partnership with Japan Management team and key stakeholders (both local and global) to achieve shared goals

 

 

JOB PROFILE:

 

Degree:  Business Degree

 

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in owned ecommerce at global retail companies, including sales achievement & P/L management responsibilities
  • Experience in digital marketing, especially search engine marketing
  • Experience in e-merchandising
  • Experiences in Website enhancement project management is a plus
  • Experiences in 3rd-party e-commerce is a plus

 

Languages: Japanese and English (Business Fluent)
