Cartier is company that enjoys an international reputation as one of the world’s leading luxury Maisons in particularly for the conception, creation and manufacturing of jewellery, watches, eyewear and accessories marketing under the highly renowned Cartier trademark.


Reporting to the Head of Communication, the incumbent will manage the Visual Merchandising strategy, planning, implementation and maintenance, for both networks (Retail & Watch specialists), adapting international guidelines and defining the most relevant local actions.

He/she is an ambassador of the Maison and must ensure the consistency, quality and excellence of the visual merchandising, to enhance Cartier brand image & contribute to the unique Cartier 1st class client experience.

The geography scope is Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines and Brunei.





Key responsibility 1: Define and implement Cartier Visual Merchandising strategy

  • Define the local Visual Merchandising strategy based on worldwide guidelines and adjusted based on local needs
  • Develop special display for specific occasions and events to enhance the experience
  • Act as a proactive force in enhancing the Maison image & developing the business, leveraging visual merchandising as a way to improve client experience & drive sales
  • Share the VM strategy & plans with Retail and Watch specialists Directors
  • Manage VM budget and update Head of Communication on a regular basis
  • Share internal and external best practices ; propose new concepts to make Cartier VM stand out in the market
  • Elaborate & share reporting with Cartier SEA teams and HQ
  • Contribute to the design of local events, in collaboration with the Events Manager
  • Participate in the choice of iconography for new projects (openings, renovations) in collaboration with HQ and SDP (Store Design Planning) team


Key responsibility 2: Visual Merchandising implementation & operations

  • Define & implement new launches animations, seasonal & annual themes, in line with the 360 activation plan, and in collaboration with boutiques teams in a timely manner
  • Implement dynamic store zoning in collaboration with Retail, Marketing & Supply Chain teams
  • Forecast VM needs on new launches animations, seasonal & annual themes and collaborate with the Supply Chain department for orders and deliveries
  • Handle & ensure maintenance of display to contribute to operational excellence in the network
  • Establish maintenance contracts with key vendors and follow up on the execution Create vendors when needed
  • Follow up on invoicing


Key responsibility 3: Visual Merchandising training

  • Develop materials and conduct VM trainings on a regular basis to strengthen boutique VM expertise
  • Animate VM ambassadors community




  • Diploma / Degree in Visual Merchandising, Visual Communications or related disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in a similar industry
  • Proficiency in project management
  • Retail expertise
  • Ability to work hand-in-hand with different departments



  • Resourceful pro-active and able to take initiative, while being able to understand Maison vision, guidelines and HQ constraints
  • High sensitivity to aesthetic matters
  • Strong communication skills for training and negotiations
