MAIN PURPOSE

 


Are you a proactive learner, passionate about customer experience and eager to drive growth across the business? If so, we would like to present you with the opportunity to join our Cartier Southeast Asia & Oceania (SEAO) team.  In this role as a V.I.E - Fragrance Executive, you will have the opportunity to be in charge of the omnichannel development of the fragrance category in team by cultivating a long-term relation with existing and new retailers in SEAO. Reporting to the Regional Senior Fragrance Manager, you will work closely with the Business Development team to grow our Fragrance pillar in the region. The length of this V.I.E assignment is 12 months and ideally starts in January 2025 depending on visa requirements, the position is based in Singapore.

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

 

 

  • SALES:
  • Implement commercial action plans to drive sales, not limited to the planning of events, animations, local activations and evaluation of incentives. 
  • Support the annual budgeting process in collaboration with the markets’ retail team and retailers, coordinate the sales performance and adapt the commercial strategy accordingly.
  • Ensure best possible profitability by monitoring and controlling the expenses.
  • Collect and manage retailer purchase orders and needs monthly and liaise with operations teams for deliveries. 
  • Manage product returns in collaboration with operations team.
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze sales performance and tracking of KPIs: specifically, sell-in, sell-out, rankings and market share. 
     
  • MARKETING & COMMUNICATION:
  • Prepare the marketing plans and novelties for the discussion with the retail team and retailers.
  • Establish global assortment per retailer and planogram recommendations.
  • Propose and execute the trade marketing action plans to address clients’ needs and achieve commercial efficiency. 
  • Build communication plans to increase awareness of Cartier fragrances (PR, Media, Digital).
  • Manage the forecast of novelties and non-saleable goods. 

 

  • VISIBILITY & IMAGE:
  • Ensure the Maison’s image is respected and protected at all times across the network – i.e., impeccable environment, visibility, staff grooming, Visual Merchandising displays etc. and take corrective actions as necessary depending on market visits.
  • Work in close collaboration with the respective team member(s) on various retail channel to reach a better consistency across the SEAO network (market visits, new launches, stock assortment, visual merchandising.
  • Execute tactical sell-out animations in line with global strategy of Cartier Parfums. 
  • Provide necessary guidance and training for all the Beauty Advisors on product knowledge, selling tips, and service skills, with the support of local subsidiary training teams. 

 

  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
  • Conduct analysis to propose new business opportunities with existing or new partners in the SEAO Region. 
  • Assess and convert e-commerce opportunities.
  • Negotiate permanent visibility in the existing Points of Sales, and new openings in line with the Maison image and strategy.
  • Under the guidance of Senior Manager and Commercial Management Team, support the preparation and negotiation of commercial terms with operators. 

 

  • OTHERS:
  • Manage invoices and other financial administrative tasks.
  • Arrange and prepare monthly meetings with local retailers. 
  • Schedule market visits depending on needs.
  • Participate in the training of new joiners.

As a Fragrance Executive, you will have a great opportunity to be an essential contributor in a dynamic team, working for the success of a first-class Luxury Maison under strong business acceleration and transformation. In order to be successful on this role, we expect that:

 

  • You are graduated from a Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related disciplines;
  • You already had similar professional experiences in Product Management in the Luxury and/or Fashion Industry, ideally in Cosmetics, Luxury, Retail or Eyewear industry;
  • You demonstrate excellent written and verbal English language skills along with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • You own a strong business acumen and negotiation appetite;
  • You own strong analytical skills and rigor, and have a deep knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, some knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools (such as PowerBI) is a plus;
  • You have the ability to work and coordinate with strong organisation skills, with the ability to work pro-actively and autonomously;
  • You are highly collaborative and team-spirited and love to work in an international environment;
  • You demonstrate a high level of integrity, loyalty and confidentiality.
