MAIN PURPOSE

 

Reporting to the Regional Supply & Demand Manager, the Regional Supply & Demand Executive – Watch & Leather Straps will manage regional supply and distribution of finished goods including Watch and Leather Straps to ensure good stock availability and client satisfaction in SG, ASEAN, VN, TH, AU, NZ.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. STOCK MANAGEMENT

 

  • Watches:
  • Ensure and monitor stock levels at its requirement in all networks.
  • Stock allocation of all incoming shipments to every network in the SEAO region by typology, specific needs, stock constraints, sales trends, and backorders
  • Rebalancing of regional warehouse stock between markets especially on constrained and high-performing collections
  • Manage stock-related issues and all returns with Cartier Central Operations, local logistic team, and local Sales Operation team for all required brand recalls, staff sales, commercial buybacks, watch stickers, and destructions.
  • Manage W&W prototypes routing across markets and PR/Event consignment stock.
  • Ensure article data is always up to date (purchase price, vendor update, transition reference)
  • Propose stock action plans when needed i.e., slow movers, and shortages.

 

  • Leather Straps:
  • Ensure and monitor stock levels at its requirement in all networks.
  • Ensure article data is always up to date (purchase price, vendor update, transition reference)
  • Monitor assortment and adjust it proactively with the Central Straps team.
  • Monitor and follow up on CITES usage and forecast.
  • Follow up on special orders placing, defectives, and yearly destruction.

 

  1. Global Stock Policy Maintenance and Forecasting

 

  • Ensure central target stock is always aligned with market performance, adapt stock policy according to sales trend and sales seasonality, and anticipate seasonal stock needs during festive time and for all new openings and renovations.
  • Monitor novelty assortment and adjust it proactively with Cartier Central Operations

 

 

  • Propose and manage entire assortment review for all network and ensure system is always updated (i.e., Booster and SAP)
  • Review Watch collaboration forecast with Headquarter, following with local marketing strategy and network objectives.
  • Liaise and work in collaboration with marketing, VM and commercial teams to understand local trends, sales performance, network change and customer feedback.

 

 

  1.  Reporting and Communications

 

  • Actively communicate stock status, stock shortage, and shipment delays internally and externally
  • Responsible for the retrieval, update, and analysis of all weekly/monthly/yearly Stock reports: Inventory level, Sales through, Stock rotation, Assortment fulfilment rate, aging reports…
  • Liaise with regional Cartier counterparts for stock, sales and assortment information when needed.
  • Analyze market trends, sales forecasts, and demand patterns to optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and execute strategies to minimize excess and obsolete stock
  • Solid communicator, active listener, collaborative and thrives in a team environment.

 

 

Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain planning or related functions with handling of a wide SKU base and network in both retail and wholesale industry, prior experience in SAP is a plus
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills (highly required)
  • High-intermediate MS Excel skill (highly required)
  • Self-motivated, quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who are passionate about watchmaking, people and sales.
  • Result-oriented, positive attitude, ability to plan and prioritize, and able to work under pressure.
