MISSION

 

The Regional Head of Corporate Communications & Relations plays an instrumental role in establishing and maintaining the Maison’s positive corporate brand image as a global corporate citizen internally and externally across Southeast Asia and Oceania (SEAO). 

 

This position is tasked with defining and leading the regional corporate strategy and messaging, working in close partnership with global and market teams. As the ecosystem architect of Cartier SEAO, this role fosters strategic networks with institutional and corporate partners, supporting Cartier’s key corporate commitments (Cartier Women’s Initiative, Young Leader Award, Cartier for Nature, Cartier Philanthropy) and initiatives related to Arts & Culture and University engagement.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Corporate Communications

 

Lead regional corporate strategy and messaging

  • Define a strategic roadmap for Cartier’s corporate commitments, ensuring alignment with global teams while addressing regional priorities and market-specific needs.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate communications plan that captures key communications moments with consistent, compelling messaging.
  • Strengthen corporate branding through different forms of collaboration and content, such as partner events and external speaking engagements.

 

Co-develop and deploy corporate initiatives

  • In partnership with central and market teams, roll out initiatives/projects that increase brand awareness, participation, and affinity in line with the strategic roadmap.
  • Manage regional corporate communications budget to ensure effective and impactful delivery of regional and market initiatives.

 

Ecosystem Building

 

Lead the building of Cartier SEAO’s ecosystem

  • Map and nurture the region's ecosystem, identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with external institutions and organisations.
  • Develop and implement a strategic outreach plan to engage with identified stakeholders.
  • Drive and facilitate opportunities for intra-regional, multi-market collaborations. 

 

 Develop university and knowledge partner relations

  • In collaboration with regional HR, co-lead initiatives to establish and expand relationships with strategic universities and knowledge partners.

 

Internal Communications

Support executive messaging

  • Assist executive leadership in crafting impactful messages for various channels, including newsletters, emails, videos, and speeches.
  • Provide compelling and consistent editorial content for internal and external platforms. Potentially manage external copywriter as necessary to ensure high-quality content production.

Co-construct regional internal communication plan

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications calendar that ensures consistent messaging and fosters a sense of community and alignment within the organisation.
  • Plan, organise and develop content for key internal events such as town halls, webinars, strategic gatherings, in partnership with regional (Learning & Transformation, HR) and market teams. 
  • Design and implement initiatives to boost employee engagement and morale. This includes campaigns to celebrate achievements, recognise contributions, and promote a positive organisational culture.

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • You have 10+ years of experience in Corporate Relations and/or Communications roles
  • Passion for corporate commitments and experience in corporate brand building
  • An ability to develop roadmaps and guide teams to create locally-relevant strategies
  • Experience working in multicultural environments, especially in a regional role
  • A builder of meaningful stakeholder relationships, internally and externally
  • Flair for articulating the company’s messages in a clear, engaging manner
  • You can communicate fluently and have a strong command of the English language
