Regional Client Communications & Activations Director

MISSION
Are you a strong connector, who enjoys identifying strategic synergies and opportunities while experimenting with new technologies and tools? If so, we would like to present you the opportunity to join our SEAO Singapore-based team as Regional Client Communication & Activations Director, starting on June 2023.
In this role, you will build the Regional Hub of Client expertise nurturing the right set of competencies across the markets. You will design a long-term strategy on Client Intelligence and Activations and build and implement the commercial and non-commercial communication strategy, working in a transversal and collaborative mindset with Regional, Market, and Central teams. Engaging with clients, partners, and diasporas, you will nurture a people eco-system, sharing Cartier’s culture externally while fostering the pride of belonging internally.
In this role, you will report to the CEO of South East Asia & Oceania, and you will be a member of the Regional Exco, leading and developing a team of 4 to 6 colleagues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Intelligence:
- Act as the region’s main provider of client data & knowledge, and recommendations to markets and management and advocate to central teams
- Enhance client knowledge including local clients, diasporas, intra-regional tourists, and travelers communities through data insights to build a sustainable development roadmap
- Manage overall Client Performance and Client Internal Data compliance
Client Activations:
- Provide tech enablers and new competencies to the markets in regard to client tools, eg. Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Sustain relations with CRM agencies for the region
- Deliver dynamic Client Journeys tailored to various audiences while maintaining local relevance
- Identify omnichannel prospects in close partnership with the Business Development and country Client and Commercial teams
- Manage overall Client Activation performance
Transversal Communication Projects
- Co-construct regional transversal communication topics including Digital Media, Prestige, Fragrance, Wholesale and Watch Communities
- Work closely with CRC and country Client and Retail teams to ensure clients’ communication strategy supports the business targets
- Consolidate budget at a regional level and (re)adjust accordingly when necessary
- Encourage experimentation with new technologies (Avatar-vision dome, Line, WeChat Traveler MP, etc.)
- Leverage existing social platforms and explore new ones to convey messages that resonate with clients on a deeper level with Maison’s commitment across the region
- Build the Regional Client Communication Committee (CCC) to create synergies with markets’ MarCom, VM, and Commercial teams and strengthen links with HQ
Corporate Communication
- Build the corporate communication strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and embodying Cartier’s values inside and outside the Maison
- Develop a Corporate and Social Responsibility roadmap, leveraging Maison’s existing initiatives (CWI, Red Club, Fondation Cartier, Cartier for Nature, etc.) and plan activities and projects
- Initiate Cartier’s institutional commitment to Arts & Culture in the region, creating dialogue opportunities with various partners (universities, cultural institutions, etc.)
- Build a dynamic calendar of events and opportunities to maximize visibility toward different audiences
Internal Communication
- Design and implement an internal communication strategy to drive collaboration and engagement at a regional and local level
- Manage all internal communication touchpoints and create quality content maintaining local relevance (Newsletter, Yammer, Intranet, etc.)
- Plan townhalls, workshops, and engagement events, connecting with inspirational external speakers and vendors
- Experiment with new, creative ways to engage employees in prioritized initiatives (cross-cultural dialogues, collegial celebrations of milestones, etc.)
YOUR PROFILE
- You have a minimum of 10 years of working experience in Marketing & Communications, preferably in the luxury industry with extensive Client knowledge
- You are a strategic thinker and possess an analytical mindset
- You are social media savvy and proficient in the use of digital tools
- You have strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to establish and foster strong relations across all levels of the organization
- You can walk the talk, inspire and engage with various audiences and stakeholders, being a true ambassador of the Maison
- You strive for excellence and have an eye for aesthetics
- You are curious, constantly look for inspiration, proposing new and unconventional ideas
- You are sensitive toward cultural differences
- You can travel frequently
- You speak English fluently and preferably an Asian language
