MAIN PURPOSE

 

In line with the Maison’s strategy, the Regional Fragrance Executive is in charge of the Fragrance category’s development in terms of sales, network (retail and distributors), visibility and image, within the South East Asia & Oceania region : Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Oceania, among others.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Sales

 

  • Collect, consolidate, report and analyze sales performance and KPIs: sell-in/sell-out/rankings/market share
  • Control, manage stock levels and forecast sales according to business seasonality in coordination with operations/supply chain/marketing departments
  • Implement commercial action plans to drive sales (incentives, events, animations, local actions)
  • Propose annual budget, review “last estimates” every quarter according to actual trends and monitor communication and selling costs budgets

 

Business development

 

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities with existing or new partners in the Region
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial terms and new openings with operators, under supervision of commercial management team.
  • Propose and negotiate product assortment selections as well as new launch quantities with retail and distributors in the area
  • Handle local fragrance registrations


Marketing & Communication

 

  • In line with the Maison’s strategy and in collaboration with the Regional and local Marketing teams, define, propose and implement the trade marketing action plan for each market/location to better address clients’ needs and achieve commercial efficiency: assortment optimization, pricing, animation plans
  • Work in close collaboration with central fragrance marketing team on: product launches, VM, price related issues, animations guidelines etc.
  • Provide Central Marketing with relevant feedback on product development needs and marketing tools

 

Visibility & Image

 

  • Ensure the Maison’s image is always respected and protected, inside each BTQ/POS: impeccable environment, visibility, staff grooming, VM displays etc. and take corrective actions as necessary following regular market visits
  • Achieve and increase brand visibility at store level by securing the best instore visibility (permanent display and promotions) and by ensuring proper VM displays in each BTQ/POS
  • Support as necessary for coaching and training for all staff in boutiques (and potentially BAs) on product knowledge, selling tips, and service skills, with the support of local subsidiary training teams

 

Project management

 

  • Build the Cartier Parfums regional strategy per market and per channel (commercial, business model, distribution)
  • Coordinate the retail strategy roll-out in Cartier boutiques
  • Support, animate the regional taskforce and consolidate the local action plans
  • Define the 3-year plan vision for the fragrance category as part of the annual regional strategic plan
  • Work on ad-hoc projects for top management

 

KEY COMPETENCIES

 

  • Master’s Degree (Business, Marketing or Engineering)
  • Previous experience in Cosmetic - Luxury - Retail - Eyewear industry is a plus
  • Solid analytical skills with deep knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work pro-actively & autonomously
  • Strong business acumen & negotiation appetite
  • Good communication skills and team-spirited
  • Coordination and strong organization skills
  • High level of integrity, loyalty and confidentiality 

 

ELIGIBILITY TO THE VIE PROGRAM

  • Candidates between 18 and 28 years old
  • Nationals of Member States of the European Economic Area (EAA), who have fulfilled their national service obligations
