JOB TITLE                Visual Merchandising Executive – Operation
REPORTING TO            Visual Merchandising Associate Director

 

JOB DESCRIPTION UPDATE:

MAIN PURPOSE

This role is to maintain a systematic VM ordering and payment workflow, as well as to deliver an efficient and effective operation support to team from back office.
The major responsibilities are to assist team lead and teams to handle VM operational tasks, through local payment tracking, PLV Ordering & Logistics management, PLV stock management & controlling and Team operational tasks support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibility 1 – Payment Handling & Tracking
    Assist to control VM budget and payment process via closely monitor the spending.
    Organize VM payment processing in SAP.
    Communicate closely with Mkt finance analyst, commercial dept. & brand controller.
    Provide monthly spending status report to team, review the details with team head.
    Alter potential budget risk when the actual spending was not in line with project forecast.

Key responsibility 2 – PLV Ordering & Logistics management 
    PLV ordering & HQ theme Implementation (HQ + Local).
    Assist team to prepare shop opening PLV and visual merchandising set up. 
    Ordering and maintain sufficient PLV stocks and material within warehouse.
    Preparing PLV order chart regarding to headquarter VM News (seasonal / animation) and consolidate all CHINA order for RID.
    Follow up and arrange necessary shipment for local development PLVs and RID PLVs.
    Liaise with HQ Purchasing/OP team to provide necessary supporting documents to China DC for custom clearance.
    Monitor and liaise with relevant parties on animation installation and delivery schedule.  (Local supplier, commercial, marketing, PR dept. etc.).

Key responsibility 3 – PLV stock management & controlling 
    Monitor PLV CN central stock.
    Replenish PLV periodically from RID to ensure a health and reasonable stock level.
    Liaise with RID & local relevant dept. (commercial, marketing, CRM…) for consolidating POS Materials.

Key responsibility 4 – Team operational tasks support
    Assist team to liaise with relevant dept. for new opening store, special setup and events’ coordination.
    Assist team to provide display material arrangement or the on-site display (depends on the her/his VM skill).
    Assist team to consolidate seasonal, animation and event qualified completion photos from the related shops.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:
    A minimum of 5 years of related experience, previously experience in operation/Merchandising function, luxury industry is a PLUS.
    Bachelor's degree or above, marketing or business management related majors. Good sensitivity on figure, strong logical thinking.
    Pro-active, detail-oriented and with strong ownership of work 
    Professional Excel and PPT skill. Familiar with SAP system is a PLUS.
    Fluent English in reading and writing, good interpersonal and communication skills.
