V.I.E - Strategic Project Executive - Shanghai

MAIN PURPOSE

The Strategic Project Executive will assist the Chief of Staff and the CEO Office Team in the daily tasks and missions, focusing on Business Intelligence, Strategic Thinking and Project Management. This person will need to ensure all work streams are addressed in a relevant way and are moving effectively, collectively and timely. The length of this V.I.E assignment is 12 months and ideally starts in October 2024 depending on Visa requirements, the position is based in Shanghai.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

• BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE:
• Support the business insights by closely monitoring the evolution of the macro environment (GDP, consumer confidence…) and the luxury market in China.
• Drive the intelligence studies (competition landscape, luxury consumption trends, Chinese clientele…) at the country level as well as regional level. 
• Monitor the trend to provide qualitative comments on long-term projection.

• STRATEGIC THINKING:
• Work closely with each function to understand the business and get a good level of business sense.
• Organize the full-year agenda for regular business reviews with different functions and topics.
• Coordinate and follow up on the projects initiated during business review meetings.   
• Contribute to the market action plans, by driving content and coordinating deliverables.
• Facilitate and adapt the content to different audiences and ensure the message is delivered relevantly and in the compliance method.

• PROJECT MANAGEMENT & COORDINATION: 
• Follow up on the implementation of strategic projects and corporate initiatives.
• Play a key contact role with different stakeholders (central/international teams, cross-functions…) to ensure the implementation of the projects.
• Support the ad hoc projects regarding internal communication and corporate initiatives.

As a Strategic Project Executive, you will have a great opportunity to be an essential contributor in a dynamic team, working for the success of a first-class Luxury Maison under strong business acceleration and transformation.

In order to be eligible for a V.I.E in China:

• You graduated from a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Engineering or related disciplines from a University among the top 500 list of The Academic Ranking of World Universities. The Academic Record Certificate issued by the University needs to prove an average score no less than 80 (hundred-mark system or equivalent) or above B (grading system);
• You graduated from a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Engineering or related disciplines and you justify of at least 2 years of professionnal experience in a similar type of position.

• At least 2 years of work experience is a real plus.
• Strategic & Analytical, Execution capability with an eye for details.
• Advanced level of Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote is a plus.
• Entrepreneur and self-motivated.
• A strong collaborative spirit and communication skills, enjoying transversal/collaborative work and achieving results through teamwork. 
• English Fluent, French and Mandarin are a plus.

• Firstly, you will be engaging with an online video interview of 15min for us to assess your understanding of the position and motivations;

• Subsequently, you will be meeting with the International Talent Acquisition team to dive deeper and assess your fit to this role;

• Finally, you will be able to meet with the local Hiring Team (Local HR and Hiring Manager).
