MAIN PURPOSE

 

This position is in charge of retail projects of 5 regions in China Market. This role works closely with Retail Associate Vice President to implement Maison’s strategy, identify potential opportunities and daily operations which is in line with the Maison’s objectives. He or she manages retail projects across different functional teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Key responsibility 1- New Retail Projects Management
  • Lead retail projects cross 5 regional teams.
  • Drive new initiatives, programs, action plans and tools to boost retail performances according to new retail strategy.
  • Execute transversal projects for retail to deliver excellent service and customized experience in China market.
  • Manage retail projects across cross-functional teams and ensure progression within the timelines, using appropriate project management tools and methodologies
  • Reporting of overall project status, structure project streams and governance
  • Define project planning, budget controlling
  • Provide first-hand information concerning Retail projects in each boutique.

  • Key responsibility 2 – Retail Performance
  • Work closely with Retail Associate Vice President to monitor retail performance to achieve the retail development
  • Analyse and scrutinize boutique sales performance for 5 regions
  • Explore and review the business opportunities by boutiques
  • Monitor retail action plan to constantly improve boutique productivity and operation efficiency
  • Collect and develop market intelligence in China markets, update competitors’ information in China.

  • Key responsibility 3 – Operations
  • Combine and analysis the operation processes in 5 regions to generate measurable business results and drive revenues.
  • Ensure the smooth boutique opening & revocation, supervise product/PLV order, monitor the execution of Visual Merchandising and any other related opening/revocation procedures.
  • Monitor 5 regions budget and cost to ensure the profitable performance of retail operation

QUALIFICATIONS

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of product and luxury industry
  • Strong Analytical & Synthetical
  • Excellent understanding of the selling process and of customer behaviour
  • Good communication and negotiation interpersonal skills Leadership skills are vital to share direction, messages and nurture the Retail team
  • At least 5 years working experience for senior positions in Luxury Industry
  • Strong local networking and client networking are preferred
