Specialist Trainer

  • Support the service and selling skills development for Specialist stores’ employees through both training and coaching methodologies.
  • Ensure Specialist store employees have full understanding on Cartier brand, culture, product knowledge and stories and inspire their passion and loyalty on Cartier brand through both class-rooming training and field coaching formats.
  • Enhance the cooperation relationship between Specialist and Retail teams.




To assist to identify training and development needs in the company

- Understand company business goals and people requirement by communicating with key stakeholders.

- Define current & future needs and goals for specialist training in line with corporate vision and strategy to support the development of the business overall.

- Continuously elevate the service level of stores through adequate training support.


To facilitate training courses and improve the effectiveness of training

- To assist the Training Manager in the preparation and translation of training materials for the frontline staffs.

- Facilitate core training courses such as new employee orientation, product training to ensure application of knowledge and skills learnt during training.

- Conduct after-training evaluation and follow ups (travel to shops).

- Make and implement training follow-up plan to support employees to transfer the knowledge and skill they learnt at classroom to right behaviors in the workplace.

- To run E-learning programs, maintain the system.


To improve store productivity effectively by monthly store visit

- Understand store business/product/people needs.

- Observe in-store service and check the action plan implementation.

- Provide coaching and feedback to in-store product knowledge specialist in product training, service skills and follow-up.

- Provide coaching and feedback to store manager.

- Make store visit report and check the implementation of action plan made by store manager.


To manage yearly training budget allocated to Specialist training

- Plan training budget based on people development needs collected

- Track and control the spending of training budget and ensure all spending is within budget

- Make right decision on budget planning and spending in order to ensure investment gets effective return on people development


Be responsible for other retail related tasks assigned by line manager



Internal contacts:

- Strong functional line of reporting with Training Manager.

- Work closely with Training Manager and other training team members.

- Work closely with all office front line Cartier employees, especially Specialist team.




  • Education: Bachelor Degree
  • Experience: 2-3 years’ experience working in retail store.
  • Retail training or field coaching experience is preferred.
  • Behavioral competencies: Must have good personal organization and strong administration skills.
  • Skills required: Proficient in presentation / facilitation.


  • Patient, passion in training, logistical thinking, hard worker.
  • Good in MS office software.
  • Fluent in both oral & written English.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to travel every month.
