MAIN PURPOSES

 

  • Implement the training plan for China POS stores.
  • Consolidate the training needs and feedback from China POS staff.
  • Manage the training documentations.
  • Manage the co-ordination (and facilitation as needed) of training programs implementation in China as in accordance with the guidelines from HQ. Provide translation support on training materials.
  • Deliver New Employee Orientation to engage new joiners and support new POS store opening in China.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness; assess quality and success of programs and share feedback to internal teams.
  • Provide support on design and facilitation of training program originated from business meetings and POS employee learning needs.
  • Conduct store visits; provide field coaching and other in-store training supports as deemed appropriate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Function as a team player in the area of training in the company and spearheading the solution for training needs for frontline staff all over China POS.
  • Be able to understand the strategic business directions of the company, implement training measures and design programs to address those needs for the future operation and expansion.
  • Capable of carrying out all-round training activities such as Training Needs Analysis, Training Administration and Training Delivery (for Frontline Sales Staff in terms of Service, Creations, and Sales Etiquette pertaining to selling Luxury Products).
  • Recommend for selection and manage a network of internal / external vendors including consultants, vendors, educational institutions and professionals that can deliver local training to support local training strategy.
  • Communicate training programs and processes with participants and related stakeholders.
  • Track, analyse, and report on training programs and improve the existing Training Systems to track post-training performance and behaviours.
  • Plan and manage training expenses. Develop and administer measurement tools, and evaluation studies to continuously improve the effectiveness of training budget management.
  • Develop and maintain an external network of contacts for benchmarking, supporting the talent development initiatives and etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Minimum 2-3 years working experience in a training and development environment for multi-national organization(s) with a solid training and development component required.
  • Understand the difference of people and culture given the broad geographical coverage in China and be inclusive to diversified individuals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with different levels of managers.
  • Strong influence skills and project management experience.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • Training experience within the Luxury Retail Industry is a highly preferred background.
