MAIN PURPOSE

  • Manage Cartier watch business and lead the development and implementation of a local marketing strategy in order to develop turnover, profitability and to nurture brand equity.
  • Lead cross functions in implementation of 360 action plan and ensure coordination with all departments [Head Quarter, Communication, event, client, retail, specialists, operations, legal…].

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Key responsibility 1 – Strategy and action plan

Build the watch business strategic plan, including business analysis, identification of key opportunities

Define a localized marketing plan action plan and lead cross functions in implementation.

  • Key responsibility 2 – Forecast (in-range & novelties)

Lead team in the preparation and review of sales estimates for existing and new product launches

Work with Merchandising Team and HQ in Monthly Collaboration to be in line with BU & Strategic Plan

  • Key responsibility 3 – Competitor and Client intelligence

Lead efforts on customer, competitive and marketplace intelligence compilation including sourcing research agency partners, translation of market insight into action plans and cascading across departments.

  • Key responsibility 4 – Monthly Sales Review

Responsible for performance analyzes [multiple dimensions Geographies, segments, customers…] and for building operational recommendations to develop the business on a short-term & mid-term perspective.

  • Key responsibility 5 – Product Launches

Responsible for designing the marketing concept and business objectives to brief cross functional teams.

Define and lead the strategic planning building blocks in collaboration with other department heads.

  • Key responsibility 6 – People and Organization Development

Manage team capability and build talent in Marketing fundamentals and business analysis skill set.

 

Implement systems and procedures for continuous improvement on current business processes including communication flow with cross-function departments

  • Headcount supervised:  4

 

  • Internal contacts:
    • Strong functional line of reporting with Marketing and Communication Director
    • Liaise with Communications, Merchandising, Commercial, CRM, PR, and Central Marketing teams to implement strategic action plans

 

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of professional experiences in product marketing in the multinational company
  • Preference for experiences in luxury/cosmetics/FMCG industry with strong data analysis/forecasting skills and good understanding of luxury marketing insights.
  • Excellent project management and planning skills
  • Must demonstrate ability to work across functions with strong people skills
  • Positive attitude and good team player
  • Bachelor degree or above
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin. French is a plus.
