MAIN PURPOSE

 

The purpose of the position is to manage the strategy and execution of Cartier Jewellery’s key product categories. The candidate’s primary role is to be responsible for the product strategy implementation, product-launching calendar and the design of holistic marketing campaigns to support and be in line with these objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Key responsibility 1 –  Sales Forecast ( in-range & novelties )

Prepare bi-monthly forecast for responsible collections down to reference level, collaborate with Central and system follow up

      

Collaborate with local and central teams in regular forecast planning with the goal to achieve business target and ensure healthy visibility for all collections in-charged

 

Perform key benchmarking analysis for new product launches (pricing, aesthetics, materials) vs. competitors and in-range products

  • Key responsibility 2 – Sales Analysis and Actions Proposals

Supervise and ensure high quality of sales review and analysis, monthly, yearly, ad-hoc, etc.

  • Key responsibility 3 – Product Strategy & Projects

Assist with strategic input / come up with action plan of in-charged lines, based on fact-supported analysis

Assist Assistant Jewellery Manager with the local strategy, establish and implement solid, integrated launch plan & gain independence on project management skills

 

Communicate closely and coordinate with cross function teams to meet strategic objectives and action plans

  • Key responsibility 4 – BU & Strategic plan

Sales budget proposal on responsible collections, with regular tracking, review and adjust

 

Provide insights to support marketing strategies formulation with thorough understanding of maisons’ product portfolio, target clients, market trends, competition environment and fact-supported analysis

  • Key responsibility 5 –Competition & market analysis

Research and understand local Jewellery market needs, competitor and customer insights.

 

Identify opportunities and come up with action plans based on market analysis on regular basis with the support of Assistant Jewellery Manager

QUALIFICATION:

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Strong analytical skills and critical/strategic thinking
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in product management, preferably in luxury goods
  • Previous role must demonstrate strength with regards to quantitative and qualitative analysis, forecasting, budget preparation, interpretation of data and report
  • Must demonstrate ability to work across functions with strong communications & interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and logical thinking
  • Strong command of numbers
  • Detail-oriented and precise
  • Ability to interpret numbers and translate them into action plans
  • Good project management and planning skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functions
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including data analysis functions) and Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Good command of both written and spoken English & Mandarin
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Self-starter, takes initiative and capable of working independently
  • Be curious & think out of the box
