JOB TITLE Jewellery Executive
REPORTING TO Jewellery Manager
LOCATION Shanghai

MAIN PURPOSE
The purpose of the position is to manage the strategy and execution of Cartier Jewellery’s key product categories. The candidate’s primary role is to be responsible for the product strategy implementation, product-launching calendar and the design of holistic marketing campaigns to support and be in line with these objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Key responsibility 1 – Forecast ( in-range & novelties )
Prepare the bi-monthly forecast for Bijoux and New Jewellery lines down to reference level for APO system uploading
Work with HQ and local Merchandising teams in monthly Collaboration to be in line with BU and strategic plan and anticipate stock delivery plans
Perform key benchmarking analysis for new product launches (pricing, aesthetics, materials) vs. competitors and in-range products

▪ Key responsibility 2 – Monthly Sales Review
Issue monthly sales review for the respective Jewellery category and propose short term and long term action plan
Implement action plan timely

▪ Key responsibility 3 – Product launches
Assist with strategic input / come up with action plan of in-charged lines, based on fact-supported analysis.
Assist the Assistant Jewellery Manager with the local strategy, establish and implement solid, integrated launch plan & gain independent leadership on project handling
Coordinate cross function teams to meet launch objectives and deploy action plans across Retail, VM, CRM, PR and Comm for respective projects

▪ Key responsibility 4 – BU & Strategic plan
Identify the business opportunity for this specific product category within Jewellery and contribute in the build up of BU and strategic plan
Work closely with HQ counterparties to secure key resources and campaigns for local market deployment
Set the roadmap for long-term vision and forecast plan by city tier for Icons

▪ Key responsibility 5 –Competition & market analysis
Integrate deep understanding of Chinese market, competitor and customer set
Identify opportunities to come up with action plans via thorough competitor and market analysis on regular basis (including sales, Roadshow Events, In-Boutique Events, new product launches, etc)

Qualifications:
Experience:
 Bachelor’s Degree in related field
 Strong analytical skills and critical/strategic thinking
 2 to 3 years of experience in product management, preferably in luxury goods
 Previous role must demonstrate strength with regards to quantitative and qualitative analysis, forecasting, budget preparation, interpretation of data and report
 Must demonstrate ability to work across functions with strong people skills

 Strong analytical skills and logical thinking
 Strong command of numbers
 Detail-oriented and precise
 Ability to interpret numbers and translate them into action plans
 Good project management and planning skills
 Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functions
 Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including data analysis functions) and Microsoft PowerPoint
Additional Requirements:
 Good command of both written and spoken English & Mandarin
 Positive attitude and team player
 Self-starter, takes initiative and capable of working independently
 Be curious & think out of the box
