MAIN PURPOSE

The holder of the position is responsible for developing and executing an internal communication strategy that relays the company's strategic messages and effectively delivering those messages to achieve our goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Key responsibility 1 Internal communications strategy
  • Develop and implement internal communications strategy that meets organisational objectives and aligns with the maison strategy in China.
  • Ensure key messages from senior management are properly reflected in communications to internal stakeholders.
  • Review and measure the effectiveness of internal communications messages and channels.
  • Build/drive a culture that can ensure employees and managers will carry out the goals of a company.

  • Key responsibility 2  internal communications channels  
  • Manage internal communications channels, such as announcements, emails, newsletters, training programs, websites, employee forums, informal gathering, town hall meetings etc.
  • Manage Cartier Connect as a local editor.
  • Create content for staff e-newsletter (including drafting a message from the CEO), Monthly HR announcement on employee movement and key internal presentations.
  • Play a leading role in developing and improving existing communications tools.

  • Key responsibility 3   Employee engagement 
  • Lead employee engagement barometer survey.
  • Put in place sound action plan after evaluating all survey results.
  • Play a key role in organising the annual commercial conference (a joint event with annual dinner).
  • Be responsible for Cartier Long term commitment awards.
  • Support different employee engagement activities such as staff opinion survey, Cartier President live video conference with all markets, celebrations on special occasions.

 

  • Key responsibility 4 – Cultural Transformation and CSR
  • In partnership with maison’s strategic transformation department and other HR colleagues to develop company’s cultural transformation and CSR plans via a range of projects, initiatives and campaigns, and implement them
  • Link with Cartier Philanthropy to secure the implementation of Global projects in China.

  • Key responsibility 5 –Project/ Budget Management
  • Forecast internal communication budget accordingly on annual business priorities and strategy as appropriate.
  • Manage internal communication budget ensuring activities are kept within reasonable deviation of fiscal year
  • Work as a project leader of the annual conference and manage its budget to secure the cost efficiency.

  • Key responsibility 6 – Keeping abreast with internal communications environment
  • Look out for any relevant and innovative internal communications tools.
  • Attend events related to internal communications field (internal & external).
  • Select partners (internal & external) according to Cartier standards level of expectations.
  • Be a member of Cartier international internal communication community to contribute to Global activity agenda.
