JOB DESCRIPTION

 

The Event Executive is a supporting role in the event team, and for this particular position, the Event Executive will have a focus on projects that take place in the retail environment. These projects include regular in-boutique events, seasonal boutique animations, POS events, pop-ups and events in culture space of certain boutiques.

 

This person will work on various projects, of different themes and scales, simultaneously. And this person needs to ensure that the projects will be delivered in accordance to the standard of the brand.

 

 

MAIN PURPOSE

 

To support Assistant Event Manager to develop, produce and deliver events that take place in the retail environment based on the need of the brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Key responsibility 1 –
    • Support Assistant Event Manager to develop and execute retail events in areas including, but not limited to:

 

  • Co-ordinate with internal departments and external parties for event planning and implementation.

 

  • Identify appropriate vendors, negotiate service contracts and supervise their work.

 

  • Create project timelines, follow-through event production, logistic control, and event management.

 

  • Key responsibility 2 –
    • To handle small scale and regular retail events independently under the supervision of Assistant Event Manager.

 

  • Key responsibility 3 –
    • Handle administrative works of their respective projects including budget updating, YTD checking, PO issuing, payment settlement, monthly accrual, stock requisition and filing, etc.

 

  • Key responsibility 4 –
    • Coach coordinator or intern when applicable.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience in event management or event related roles in an event agency or in-house event department.

 

  • Experience in the retail industry is also a plus for this role as having a good understanding of how the retail environment works would be crucial to this role.

 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Possess a sense of urgency, problem-solving skill and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and is curious about the happenings in the industry.

 

  • Good at using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
