REPORTING TO        Strategic Transformations Officer
LOCATION                Shanghai

 

MAIN PURPOSE

The purpose of the position is to develop a Cartier China Corporate & Cultural communication platform, via a solid Art & Culture approach but also through other Institutional projects that reflects the values of Cartier. (CWIA, Cartier Charity organization….) in order to grow Brand Equity and Influence of Cartier in China. .
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Key responsibility 1 – Build the Art & Cultural identity of the Maison in China
-    Build long term strategy and presence of Cartier Collection in China
-    Collaborate with Fondation Cartier to establish its long term presence in China
-    Propose and Supervise exhibitions in China related to the two institutions mentioned above, and the overall related communication plans
-    Maintain strong connections with Chinese Institutions: AEC, BJPM, China Movie Guild, French Embassy, Chinese Artists and Designers to grow influence and leverage collaborations.

 

Key responsibility 2 – Develop Institutional Communication program
-    Develop the Identity of CWIA (Chinese Woman Initiative Awards), especially through development of connections with Valuable Women Clubs in China 
-    Collaborate with HR to follow the Cartier Charity Organization and leverage it wisely 
-    Further develop and manage KOL (Key Opinion Leaders) program.
-    Develop and maintain efficient and effective PR library and database.


Key responsibility 3 – Develop platform of Friends of the Maison
-    Develop external relationships with celebrities, their agents, potential partner of campaign, and establish long term relationship, and valuable visibility program (local and International)  
-    Ensure copyright rules and usage agreements are adhered to with regards to headquarters guidelines and China regulations.
-    Further develop and manage KOL (Key Opinion Leaders) program, all fields
-    Develop connections with Chinese groups and Institution to connect Cartier CEO. 

 

Key responsibility 4 – Reputation Management 
-    Supervise Reputation Management of the Maison Cartier in China through in collaboration with Client Service Department, Commercial and Communication Department.   
-    Lead Potential Crisis Management: Develop and Implement contingency plans as appropriate. Draft statement for all potential issues. 


Key responsibility 5 – Team & Resource Management   
-    Team management, 6 staff (MBO performance, Carrere Committee)
-    Training/coaching of team staff for them to improve skills and maintain motivation
-    Maintain relationship with HQ : Image, Style and Patrimony Department, Fondation Cartier, CWIA, Cartier Charity, Cartier Cultural & Artistic Development Director, PR tea
-    External resource management – Reputation Management agency, event agencies, Artists, influencers….
