REPORTING TO  Watch & Accessories Manager        

LOCATION  Shanghai

MAIN PURPOSE

The purpose of the position is to develop the strategy of accessories category and be responsible for the implementation of local marketing plan in line with these objectives. This Accessories Assistant Manager will need to take full responsibility on ACC category including (leather goods, objects eyewear, fragrance). In addition, this Accessories Assistant Manager will lead and coach Accessories Executive in the delivery of business and people development objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Key responsibility 1 – BU planning & Strategic plan
Define Accessories BU and Strategic Plan, including analysis of business situation, identification of key opportunities for growth and detailing localized marketing plan. Lead cross functions in implementation of Strategic Plan.
Set up the roadmap for long – term vision and forecast plan.

 Key responsibility 2 – Forecast ( in-range & novelties )
Novelty forecast:
Define new product sales potential by providing key benchmarking analysis such as by pricing, aesthetics, materials, and colors. Also, compare with in-range products
In range bi-monthly Collaboration:
Work with Merchandising Team and HQ in bi-monthly Collaboration to be in line with BU for in range products with anticipate with stock delivery plan.
Align assortment with merchandising team to rollout in the most efficient networks.

 Key responsibility 3 – Product Launches
Lead strategic input/come up with action plan of in-charged lines, based on fact – supported analysis.
Define and lead the local 360 strategy, establish and implement solid, integrated launch plan with gain independent leadership on project handling. 
Lead cross function teams to meet launch objectives and deploy action plans across communication, commercial, supply chain, VM and CRM/Ecom teams for respective projects

 Key responsibility 4 – Monthly Sales Review
Issue monthly sales review and propose short term and long term action plan,
Deliver & track the BU vs landing base on the forecast and action plan.
Implement action plan timely.

 Key responsibility 5 – Competitor and Customer Understanding
Lead efforts on customer, competitive and market place intelligence compilation including sourcing research agency partners, translation of market insight into action plans and cascading across departments
Identify opportunity and come up with action plans via thorough competitors and market analysis on regular basis (including roadshow, pop up, exclusivities)

 Key responsibility 6 – People and Organization Development
Manage team capability and build talent in Marketing Fundamentals and Business Analysis skill set.
Implement systems and procedures for continuous improvement on current business processes including communication flow with cross-function departments

Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s Degree in related field; post graduate / MBA is preferred
 In-depth analytical thinking and business analysis

Experience:
 5 - 6 years of professional experience working for a reputable multinational company
Previous role must demonstrate strength with regards to detailed quantitative analysis, interpretation of data and report generation
 Must demonstrate ability to work across functions with strong people skills
 Preference for experience in (1) Luxury / Retail industry but with strong data analysis/buying(merchandising)/planning roles and responsibilities (proven either leather-goods or fragrance experience in luxury industry is most preferred) (2) Business Strategy Consulting


Additional Requirements:
 Proven integrated marketing experience (brand building, brand development, product, communication) is a plus
