Accessories & Fragrance Product Manager

MAIN PURPOSE
The purpose of the position is to adapt and bridge global directions of Accessories & Fragrance categories to China market, be responsible for development and implementation of marketing strategies and plans in line with these objectives.
This Assistant Manager will oversee overall Accessories & Fragrance categories including leather goods, objects, eyewear and olfactory segments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Budget & Strategic planning
Identify business opportunities for category and contribute in buildup of Sales budget plan and Strategies’ planning
Set roadmap for long-term vision and actionable plans for maison’s strategic priorities and adapt to local market needs
Co-Build and follow-up Fragrance communication budget by discipline and line, following international guidelines, in collaboration with Marketing Director in HQ and China

- Marketing and Product Strategy
Base on maison strategic direction, client-centric mindset & fact-supported analysis, define efficient action plans of in-charged categories with support from line manager
Implement local strategies and integrated action plans with all stakeholders. Drive and ensure effective project implementation in 360 approach, with constant tracking and review
Lead on Fragrance promotional strategies following international and local business objectives

- Product Management and ensure operational excellence
Ensure marketing operational excellence on across categories and tasks
Build internal tools to transmit and communicate product knowledge, close collaboration with training to boost business performance
- Sales Forecast (in-range & novelties)
Access and define new products sales potential with key benchmarking analysis, versus competitions and market needs
Collaborate with local and central teams in regular forecast planning with the goal to achieve business target and ensure healthy visibility for all collections in-charged
Align assortment with Supply Chain &Demand team to rollout in efficient networks

- Sales Performance Analysis and Actions Proposals
Delivery high quality sales review and analysis on regular basis and provide specific recommendations on short term and long term basis

- Competition, Customer insights & Market analysis
Integrate deep understanding of Chinese market, competitors, and customer insights
Identify opportunities and come up with action plans based on market analysis (sales, trends, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field is a must
- In-depth analytical thinking and business analysis
- 8 – 10+ years of professional experience, preferably with international luxury/ consumer goods company
- Previous role must demonstrate strength with regards to detailed quantitative analysis, interpretation of data and report generation
- Preference for experience in (1) Luxury / Retail industry but with strong data analysis/buying(merchandising)/planning roles and responsibilities (leather-goods or fragrance experience in luxury industry is preferred) (2) Business Strategy Consulting

- External contacts :
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to facilitate agreements with external parties including vendors, partners and third-party service providers
- Internal contacts:
- Strong functional line of reporting with Marketing Associate Director
- Liaise with Communications, Operations CRM, PR, Retail, Logistics, VM and Learning & Development teams to implement strategic action plans (both China and international teams)
