Cartier Korea opened its flagship boutique in Cheongdam, THE 1st street flagship boutique by international Jeweler in Korea in 2008. Then the Maison Choengdam BTQ was relocated in 2016 to where we are now and became the High Jewelry mecca in town pioneering its market potential. With the evolution of the New Retail, the BTQ will be expanded with art & culture space and reborn in 2022 with the new mission of THE ultimate brand destination to serve different clientele by offering “White-glove services” for all.
The Boutique Director will lead a large team to provide clients with exceptional and unique experiences by ensuring excellence in boutique operations and client service. Besides achieving or exceeding the boutique KPIs in terms of performance and 
profitability, the boutique Director will act as a true ambassador of the Maison, with clients and partners as well as with team members and peers. He/she will be the face of a flagship boutique and acts as an incubator for our best talents in Korea.
Thanks to a strong intrapreneurial spirit, the boutique director will work closely with local HQ to propose and implement new initiatives to animate the boutique throughout the year and to
actively develop the business by recruiting new clients and by nurturing our historical clients, especially our High-End clientele. Holding a true managerial role, he/she will be managing several departments in a complex and ever-changing environment.



•    Strategize on business opportunities in an omni channel environment to maximize sales
•    Drive boutique performances, including but not limited to Category performances 
•    Manage the operational costs of the P&L of the boutique in collaboration with finance and the retail team (T&Es, level of discounts & gratuity, selling costs) 
•    Leverage VM to boost commercial performances

•    Ensure a smooth client experience through an effective floor management
•    Strategize on, program and curate exceptional experiences to connect with & engage client
•    Identify, program and curate bespoke experiences throughout all client journeys/experience lines, including but not limited to: 
•    Properly communicate to and prepare the team on the content of the above initiatives resulting in effectively engaging boutique visitors

•    Bachelor’s degree or above
•    10+ years of relevant work experience 
•    Experience in Domestic retail management 
•    Experience in managing large teams (people managing experience is must required)
•    Experience in luxury and/or hospitality is a plus 
•    Excellent analytical skills and understanding of retail productivity levers 
•    Fluent in both Korean and English. Additional language is a plus 
•    Experience with VIP clients 
•    Solid digital skills and interest in new technologies and media 
•    Impeccable image & fit with the style and values of the Maison 
•    Knowledge of the watch & jewellery industry is a plus  
•    Intrapreneurial mindset with strong proactivity and creativity 
•    Strong leadership and managerial skills to organize, animate and grow a large team with genuine values of inclusivity and trust.  
•    Excellent interpersonal skills to handle both internal, transversal and external stakeholders (staff, partners, clients and colleagues). 
•    Solid organizational skills to manage a complex environment towards high performance ambitions 
•    Must be available to work retail hours (including weekends), travel for trainings, client events, etc. as needed
