JOB TITLE: Jewelry Supply & Demand Planner

 

REPORTING TO: Jewelry Senior Supply Chain Manager

                          

LOCATION:     Seoul, South Korea         


 

MAIN PURPOSE

 

As a key member of the Supply Chain Team, the Jewelry Supply & Demand Planner is responsible for defining and implementing the supply strategy to ensure optimal inventory levels in all distribution channels (Retail BTQs, Duty-free and E-com), in accordance with the central and regional guidelines. He/she will play a critical role in the development of the region, making him/her a strong contributor to business growth.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1. Demand Planning

  • Review the collaborative forecast with local MKT & Central Operations, based on historical sales figures and projected trends, in line with market strategy and network objectives.
  • Liaise and collaborate with Marketing, VM and Commercial teams to understand local trends, sales performance, changes in network, and customer feedback.
  • Define and adjust assortment and model stock for the entire network (Internal BTQ, DF, E-com), in collaboration with Central operations.

 

2. Supply Planning

  • Ensure that the inventory policies are well dimensioned to ensure proper replenishment.
  • Anticipate stock needs during peak seasons and for all new store openings and renovations.
  • Monitor stock level and allocate/rebalance stocks based on sales trend and assortment needs.
  • Analyze the current stock situation and alert the related teams to the risk of shortage to prepare alternatives.
  • Manage stock-related issues and all returns with Central Operations, Logistics team, and Operations executive.  

 

3. Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Creates, updates and uses Supply Chain related dashboards to monitor activities to anticipate shortages/overstocks and alert the affected departments accordingly. Reports on risks and opportunities.

 

4. Other duties

  • Work on strategic projects
  • Onsite support for events, BTQ opening/closing

 

 

 

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Over 3 yrs of experience in Supply & Demand Planning (Over 5 yrs of total work experience)
  • Luxury industry experience and knowledge a plus
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills & computer savvy
  • Advanced Excel skills with preferred experience in SAP, Anaplan, and Power Bi
  • Fluent in both Korean & English, French a plus
  • Self-motivated, team player, positive attitude, ability to handle heavy workload and stress at times, good communicator, strong sense of proactivity, challenge the status quo
