Strategic Projects Intern

MAIN PURPOSE:

 

Created within the International Commercial Department, the India Affairs & Strategy Department, is responsible for defining and implementing the strategy and business development of the Indian Diaspora at the International level for Cartier. The department will be responsible for creating an ecosystem of influential network of external stake holders to implement the strategy of Cartier.

 

As part of the India Affairs department at the International level, reporting to the India Affairs & Strategy Director, the intern will develop an extensive study and in-depth business intelligence internally at Cartier and externally on the growth potential of the Indian diaspora.

The role will develop action plans for the transmission of the intelligence and culture of the Indian Diaspora internally for all key stakeholders of the business in the Maison. The role will need to have a good understanding of the luxury business and growing potential of new markets.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Business Intelligence: Develop an in-depth research and business intelligence on Indian diaspora and Indian market, working on a state of the nation with internal Cartier data and external research, in collaboration with an external agency. Run a market research with feedback and inputs from different collaborators. Will need strong analytical competence for the research.

 

Internal branding actions: Plan action plans to foster knowledge on Indian diaspora internally at Cartier at the international, regional and market levels. Develop Brainstorm sessions, collaborative workshops, seminars, communication packages for the purpose.

 

Strategic projects: Work on strategic projects that will contribute to the 360 strategy and business development plans for the department. An understanding of development of business plans would be an asset. The profile would need an understanding of retail, products, marketing, communication to successfully contribute to the multiple strategic projects to be built with the multiple departments.

 

Ad hoc Data analysis and presentations: Build ad-hoc analytical reports, work on quantitative and qualitative analysis and reviews, build presentations for different strategic and business topics.

 

Transversal Strategic Projects: Work on transversal strategic projects with internal teams: commercial, patrimony, culture, marketing & communication, merchandising, retail, events etc to contribute to the strategy of the department.

 

Competition Analysis: Work on external competition analysis and share new ideas and points of improvement.

 

 

PROFILE:

Preparing a degree in Business School, you have a strategic and analytical mindset

You have a good understanding of luxury clients and luxury business as well as a good understanding of retail

Your organized and structured mindset allows you to have a good team spirit, excellent communication skills and agility to adapt to various environments

You have a very good command of Microsoft Office

You are fluent both in English and French
