International Press Intern (M/F)

 

 

Full-time internship

Start of the internship:  January 2020

Duration: 6 months

Location of the internship:    Paris 8th arrondissement

Remuneration:   up to €1300 gross per month (depending on the level of studies)

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

 

In the External Relations Department, you will join the International Press Department. Under the responsibility of the International Product Press Manager, you will participate in the organisation of press days and photo shoots and ensure their smooth running. You will also be involved in projects related to the service's latest developments.

 

You will perform the following duties:

  1. International events:
  • Participation in the organisation of press days
  • Consolidation of guest lists
  • Drafting the post event report

 

  1. International photo shoots:
  • Initial contact with stylists for selection of pieces
  • Organisation of logistics related to photo shoots: delivery, security, etc.
  • Presence at photo shoots

 

  1. Active participation in the overall operation of the press team:
  • Development of and updating lists of foreign correspondents
  • Follow-up of press requests from subsidiaries
  • Drafting of Market Guidelines for each strategic launch

 

To facilitate your integration into Cartier, you will benefit from an induction programme, including training in the brand's history and products, as well as various follow-ups throughout your internship.

At the end of your experience, an appointment with the Human Resources department will also be offered to identify potential opportunities within Cartier and the Richemont Group.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

A student in a business, communication (or equivalent) school, you demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, have good organisation skills and are versatile and responsive.

 

Your ability to manage stress, your curiosity and your pro-activity will be assets that will allow you to prosper in your duties.

 

You are comfortable in English as well as Excel and PowerPoint.
