About The Cartier Women’s Initiative

For more than 160 years, Cartier has drawn inspiration and creativity from bold, dynamic and enterprising women. Founded in 2006, the Cartier Women's Initiative is an annual international business program that is open to women-run and women-owned businesses from any country and sector that aim to have a strong and sustainable social and/or environmental impact. Our vision is a world in which every woman impact entrepreneur driving social change can achieve her full potential and our mission is to support them by providing financial, social and human capital.

The Cartier Women’s Initiative program is composed of four pillars which define our strategy and guide our actions:

  1. Our regional and thematic Awards recognize and fund talented impact entrepreneurs from around the world who are leveraging business as a force for good.
  2. The Fellowship aims to provide peer-, industry-, and academic-based educational programming for skills and leadership development and business growth.
  3. The Community gives fellows lifelong access to a vibrant group of impact leaders, creating opportunities for engagement, relationship-building, and the development of social capital.
  4. Our Thought Leadership strategy consists in driving an active conversation about women impact entrepreneurs through content curation and research partnerships.
