Reporting to the Jewellery Business Intelligence Manager, the Pricing analyst is the referent for pricing within the Jewellery Marketing team. Having a global overview of Cartier Jewellery pricing strategy, she/he oversees all pricing topics, from the pricing of every high-end center stone piece out of production to the lead of global price revisions. She/he is also in charge of monitoring the profitability and pricing consistency of our offer and analyzing our positioning versus our competitors’ pricing.

 

Pricing

  • Be responsible for the pricing of every individual high-end center stone and essential lines creations out of production
  • Maintain and challenge all our pricing methods on individual center stones and essential lines offers
  • Coordinate and lead every price revision: define the annual calendar, engage with all teams impacted, provide guidance and expertise, make sure the updates are made in all systems
  • Maintain the pricing grids on diamond and colored stones core offer and for specific US offer
  • Provide ad-hoc insights for special orders
  • Accompany local teams on their pricing topics to improve consistency between central and local offer
  • Be the point of contact of the Stones purchasing team and share their insights on stones purchasing trends

 

Margin and profitability monitoring

  • Monitor margins and coefficients of the offer, sharing regular reporting to the Jewellery Marketing team
  • Make warnings to products managers and marketing managers when necessary
  • Key-user of the monitoring tool

 

Business intelligence

  • Maintain and improve the existing tool with International Pricing team and markets to monitor the price positioning of Cartier vs our key competitors on the diamond center stones offer
  • Monitor prices of our competitors to provide insights of local or global price revisions, positioning updates etc.

 

Data visualization and other tool expertise

  • Key-user on PowerBi and Looker
  • Build Anaplan tools to optimize our processes
  • Train the newcomers on these tools
  • Marketing key-user for the Set For You tool: coordinate novelty deployment, market support, link with IT teams

 

 

Profile

You have an engineering or business academic background and 2-3 years of professional experience in a fast pace, analytical environment.

You bring advanced knowledge of pricing within the luxury industry and of business strategy.

You demonstrate operational excellence: autonomy, proactivity, rigor, agility and strategic thinking while being recognized for your analytical skills.

You show an excellent communication and demonstrate adaptation to different interlocutors.

You are data-driven and show ability and interest to build dashboards and tools with PowerBi and Looker, Anaplan being a plus.

You speak French and English fluently.
