The Temporary Manager / Sr. Manager, Talent Management and Organizational Development’s role is to provide support for and/or lead talent management activities as well as organizational effectiveness initiatives for Cartier North America. This assignment is estimated to be held for a period of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

 

In the talent space, the Manager / Sr. Manager will focus on envisioning, developing, and executing various initiatives related to talent topics including but not limited to career development, talent mobility, and succession planning for Cartier North America’s commercial and corporate populations. They will also support key ongoing talent processes. The Manager / Sr. Manager will also drive the realization of organizational efficiencies and improvements to ways of working through the development and delivery of workshops, playbooks, tools, and templates. The Manager / Sr. Manager will support Maison transformation efforts via providing strategic advisement, process enablement, and change management for implementation. Finally, they will lead the measurement of talent and employee engagement outcomes, and own qualitative and quantitative analyses, such as pulse checks and the employee experience survey.

 

This individual reports into the Director, Talent Management and Organizational Development and will partner with the Cartier North America (NA) VP HR, Cartier NA HRBPs, the Cartier NA Learning & Transformation team, Cartier NA Internal Communications, the Cartier International Talent Team, and the RNA Talent Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Support Cartier key ongoing Talent Initiatives (e.g., OTR) in partnership with the Cartier North America HRBPs and the Cartier International Talent Team
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of components of a continual organization effectiveness and ways of working strategy, including the build and animation of workshops, playbooks, toolkits, and templates
  • Lead the analysis of talent data, including the employee experience survey and pulse checks to measure and monitor the progress of the organization; support the visioning and build of strategic talent dashboards to present reporting in innovative ways to leadership
  • Develop strategy around talent mobility programming to support enhanced employee experience before, during, and/or after mobility; drive implementation and ongoing delivery of programming
  • Support the development and delivery of other initiatives related to talent management topics, such as succession planning, career development, etc.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree is required – preferably in Psychology, Business, Human Resources, Communications, or related field
  • MS/MBA is a plus

 

Required Experience

  • 6 - 8 (or more) years of experience in the fields of Business Transformation, Organization Development, Talent Management, Learning & Development, or related areas
  • Proven experience designing and delivering cross-functional people, technology, and/or process improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrated experienced in supporting talent initiatives such as talent mobility, career development, and/or succession
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage and deliver multiple projects with minimal guidance, on time, and under budget, as well as ability to exercise a high degree of accuracy with multiple details
  • Ability and ease communicating, liaising with, and presenting to executives and leaders as well as a diverse employee population; excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain objectivity and discretion with confidential information
  • Possess a global mindset and ability to understand the nuances of working in a global, matrixed environment
  • Experience in luxury retail industry, consumer goods, or hospitality industry is a plus

 

Technical Skills/Abilities

  • Advanced Level in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in SAP is a plus
  • Experience using collaboration and analysis tools (e.g., Mentimeter, Klaxoon, Miro, TypeformTM, SurveyMonkeyÒ, etc.) is a plus
