Senior Manager, Commercial Performance- Cartier, New York

The Senior Manager of Commercial Performance is responsible for supporting all commercial channels to understand business metrics and trends to identify strengths and opportunities of each commercial channel. In this position, he/she will manage business analytics and research, and develop action plans, and improve the business process and efficiencies in reporting and communication. This senior manager will work with multiple cross functional teams: commercial, supply chain, marketing, and finance, to understand the business performance from various angles and to collectively make data-driven and educated decisions.

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

 

Reporting/Analysis

  • Develop boutique sales and KPI monthly targets and forecasts
  • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance discussion with corporate partners and boutique team to develop boutique/region/channel specific action plans
  • Analyze business trends and performance and make data-driven suggestions/recommendations to develop strategies to achieve short term and long term performance goals
  • Connect the dots through analysis to share detailed contexts about business trends and performance
  • Partner with supply chain and marketing team to establish product category sales targets by boutique and forecast
  • Analyze boutiques’ traffic pattern, KPIs, and clients’ shopping behavior and identify business opportunities
  • Partner with cross-fuctional teams on deliverables for key meetings, projects, and stratragies
  • Manage ad-hoc data/analysis requests from boutiques and regional partners

 

Enhancement of Data Efficiency/Accuracy

  • Make recommendations and provide directions/feedback to commercial analyst and data solutions team to develop dashboards and reports though PowerBI and locker and enhance existing reports
  • Implement new data tools, partnering with HQs, data solutions, and IT team
  • Manage on-going data audits to improve accuracy of the business performance data
  • Responsible for clearly defining key business metrics and performance indicators and strategizing how to achieve the performance KPI goals  

 

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE JOB/ROLE?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

 

Required Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Merchandise, retail, and/or business planning

Technical Skills/Abilities 

 

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Experience with PowerBI and/or looker is preferred

Expected base salary range: $130,000 to $150,000

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
