As an Ambassador of the Maison, he/she achieves and exceeds sales targets as directed by management and proactively develops his/her client portfolio.  He/she ensures a unique client experience throughout all touch points.  He/she is also an active participant in the daily operations of the boutique.



Greeting and attending to clients:

  • Provide a consistently excellent client experience by maintaining the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism
  • Greet the clients in a professional and positive manner
  • Manage wait times and client expectations to help monitor boutique flow, using the MEET App when appropriate based on business levels.
  • Manage appointments using the MEET App.
  • Determine through detailed and specific discovery process the motivation and the objectives of the client’s visit and collect contact information
  • Provide preliminary information  regarding product, services and pricing to clients
  • Direct clients to the next available  representative  or familiarize clients with boutique layout and available resources while they wait
  • Make clients feel welcomed and comfortable and escort them to the viewing desk as needed
  • Assist Sales Associates in their interaction with clients as needed
  • Qualify sales leads and assure each is directed to the appropriate sales team member in a systematic manner
  • Client Services – assist selling team with running products, wrapping products for clients, clients beverage service and clean-up, coat check, faxing/copying forms as need
  • After Sales Service, – Assist associates and clients with bringing to the Service Salon  watches and jewelry for quick repairs. Perform basic quick services - strap changes, bracelet sizing (non-gold,) steam cleaning and cord changes.


Operational support:

  • Daily set up and break down of boutique for opening/closing
  • Assist with Boutique projects as needed (inventory, organization, restocking of supplies, etc...).
  • Assist as needed with beverage service and gift wrapping
  • Assist in the merchandising and overall daily maintenance of the cases (i.e. maintain proper visual standards; product maintenance and understock organization)
  • Assist in the data entry of client data cards as needed
  • In partnership with the floor management contact clients about service orders as needed


Knowledge and Compliance:

  • Develop deep understanding and knowledge of brand and products to convey Cartier heritage and values
  • Understand and comply with Cartier security and operational procedures (i.e. product handling, inventory control, etc.)


Brand Ambassador:

  • Uphold Cartier image by maintaining professional demeanor at all times and be an Ambassador for the Brand 



  • 4-year College degree preferred
  • Additional language skills (Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian) are a plus 

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience in luxury retail or hospitality is a plus


Technical Skills / Abilities:   

  • Must be available to work retail hours including weekends
  • Basic computer skills (tablets, PC) 
  • Must be able to stand on feet all day


Personal Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail store environment
  • Strong understanding of Customer Service needs and Customer (internal and external) priorities
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision
  • Ability to project an approachable and professional image in personal appearance, manner, and demeanor.
  • Self-Starter with Team-Player approach
