The Mission

 

The Director of Talent Management will be a key contributor to the overall talent strategy of Cartier North America by collaborating across the business to ensure we pro-actively prepare the organization to facilitate employee growth that contributes to retention, engagement, and productivity of our Associates. 


What you’ll do

 

  • Design a talent management roadmap to enable internal talent discoveries. 
  • You will lead the Cartier Organizational Talent Review (OTR) in collaboration with local and international Cartier Human Resources igniting meaningful dialogue and ensuring effective communication across the business. 
  • Foster and manage domestic and international mobility to and from Cartier North America by actively collaborating with Cartier regions world-wide to ensure Cartier North America is actively engaging with internal top talent across Cartier globally. and across all Richemont maisons. 
  • Develop and improve succession plans for key leadership roles and work effectively with the AVP of Talent to ensure we have a pipeline of talent to ensure talent gaps are identified and actioned.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to connect talent planning, development and retention to acquisition and onboarding.   
  • Partner with Learning & Transformation team to ensure design and delivery of development programs that are in alignment with the talent strategy. 
  • Design/Co-Design and lead talent engagement programs designed to enhance the employee experience.
  • Play a significant role in creating an exceptional employee experience from the first interaction with the candidate through their last day of a successful internal candidacy. 
  • Create reporting/ dashboard/metrics on internal mobility’s across Cartier North America.
  • Partner with Internal Communications team to create a cadence of monthly communication on employee mobility stories on Cartier Connect.
  • Actively monitor the talent health of the organization with key checks in with talent and executive leadership. 
  • Provide insights and storytelling on trends related to talent management, talent development and mobility. 
  • Prepare presentations and updates for executive committees and rollups to international HQ. 
  • Manage the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including current job descriptions and revamping of job descriptions, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments.
  • Partner with Cartier’s Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to ensure alignment and advancement of the DE&I strategy.
  • Invest in work that removes barriers and ensures a collaborative way or working.

 

Who you are:

 

You hold a bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of experience in a human resources or talent related field.  Master’s degree is a plus.  You are a connector of people with a high level of curiosity.  You have proven experience assessing talent with the ability to connect to key competencies.  You have experience leading succession planning using the 9-box or other proven methods for calibrating talent.  You are a change agent with a keen eye on the future of the workforce and talent landscape that translates to the future needs of the business.  You are a strong collaborator who thinks globally, but actions locally.  You are passionate about mobility and the need to vary the workforce.  You have demonstrated experience with gap analyses and can communicate, present, and facilitate well.  You enjoy managing projects and can manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal guidance.  You have demonstrated passion for process improvement and the ability to translate complex ideas into the least cumbersome process to deliver the same results. You have a strong background in technologies that deliver efficiencies and how to overcome systems that do not.  You are most passionate about developing a workforce to ensure the success of the business.   You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.  It’s HR, so integrity and confidentiality is a must.  You are service minded and self-aware.  You must love working as a team, sharing ideas, empowering and celebrating the success of others.
