The junior manager of SDP & Construction North America is responsible for the build out of our boutiques in North America. The junior manager leads and coordinates with our internal design team consultants, contractors and business partners from the feasibility study phase, schematic and design development phases through the execution and tender phase to the final construction and turnover.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage entire project cycle from conception to close out to ensure timely delivery of projects in highest quality within budget.
- Responsible for project management of 2-3 construction projects per year in North America.
- Lead and coordination of all project phases between International SDP, internal local teams, consultants and vendors.
- Responsible for the cost tracking of the project. Process invoices and work together with AP for reconciliations in regular basis.
- Responsible for procuring and coordinating owner supplied items.
- Frequent travel required – Up to 30%
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Required
- Minimum 3-5 years of exposure in luxury retail design and construction experience.
- Inhouse store planning experience preferred.
- Fluent in AutoCAD, Excel, Adobe CS and Microsoft Project.
- Strong communication skills in verbal, and written format
- Strong knowledge of architectural details and high-end retail design.
