Job mission

You will be in charge of overseeing the marketing strategy and its implementation for Cartier perfume category in North America (USA and Canada), across all distribution channels (online, in specialist and retail doors) while maximizing allocated A&P resources and leading the marketing team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy: Define and implement North America Marketing and Communication omni-channel 360° strategy: trade-marketing, visual merchandising, CAPEX & shop opening, events, training, media and communication, PR, influence. Ensure consistent yet relevant marketing strategies across all partners and touchpoints.


  • Marketing Planning: Define accurate forecasts, and collaborate with supply chain to ensure timely delivery and flow of new launches, range products and POSM (GWP, samples, testers, VM elements, accessories). Create allocations by channel and/or retailer and/or region 


  • Communication/Media/PR : Define and implement the media plan in partnership with local communication department, HQ and the local media agency. Define specific co-op media plan for each retailer, diversifying the strategies and adopting a test and learn approach. Manage the local PR agency for fragrance in partnership with Cartier North America PR team and co-define a local PR and influence strategy for the category


  • Budget management: Allocate and monitor A&P budget in partnership with finance department, optimizing resources closely monitoring ROI.


  • Reporting and innovation: Analyze market opportunities and share local needs (products development, price adjustments, communication assets and projects) to international teams. Share marketing activity and performance to both local market and international teams.


  • Team management: Recruit, manage and develop a team of 3 including an e-business and digital manager.



  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Required experience: Minimum 7 years of experience or 5 with an MBA. Cosmetic / fragrance industry experience is a must
  • Experience in marketing and running a marketing team.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and to influence decision-making, in an international environment
