Job mission

Manage the day-to-day operations of Cartier’s paid media channels across online and offline, including strategy, placement, execution, trafficking, and analysis of all campaigns. 

Ongoing support includes leading digital media campaigns, strategically building offline media plans across print & outdoor, building presentation materials, maintaining budgets and billing, competitive analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate is an advertising professional who is fluent in all media channels both online and offline.

 

Main accountabilities/objective of the position

  • Media Strategy & Execution: Manage Cartier North America’s annual offline and online media plans to drive brand awareness and equity through unified qualitative media formats at a grand scale across National and Regional audiences. 
  • National Media: support the branding media campaigns across paid social, display and print.
  • Regional Media: drive foot traffic to North America retail boutiques and wholesale retail partners via paid social, paid search, display, print & OOH media channels.
  • Manage and develop media briefing, planning and implementation across all channels: display, paid social, paid search, CTV, linear TV (if applicable), print & outdoor.
  • Proven experience managing budgets in an efficient manner on major platforms.
  • Evaluate media campaigns and programs to pull together clear conclusions and actionable recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Optimize active digital campaigns to achieve optimal success as measured by standard digital KPIs (CTR, CPM, CPCs, etc.)
  • Manage media and creative agency relationships to ensure all parties are working towards the common goal and business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with media publishers & partners.
  • Work cross-functionally and collaboratively across teams (PR, Content, Marketing, Strategic Planning, Commercial, Performance/DTC) to ensure integrated media tactics are delivering business objectives and goals.
  • Ensure creative allocations and priorities are meeting local needs as they relate to messaging, content, and copy.
  • Responsible for succinctly and effectively explaining complex media concepts and championing them across key stakeholders.

 

 

  • Budgets & Billing
  • Manage offline and online national, retail and wholesale budgets.
  • Oversee invoicing process.
  • Oversee, update, and maintain all internal campaign budget documents.

 

  • Team Documents & Materials
  • Strong presentation skills and building of presentation materials to clearly communicate and visualize campaign recaps, media plans, budgets, competitive trends, and performance reports is a must.
  • Understanding of Asana, Smartsheet and general invoicing programs/software is preferred.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a background in marketing, consumer behavior or analysis is preferred.
  • 6-10 years of experience in media/advertising.
  • Fluent in all media channels across online & offline.  TV buying/strategy experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in luxury or retail is a plus.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment. High attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of current media advertising landscape and a passion for marketing.
  • Expert Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe Acrobat, and major graphic/video file formats is a plus.
  • Experience with Windows OS.
  • Must be a self-starter, entrepreneurial, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment where self-sufficiency is essential.

Expected base salary range: $105,000 to $125,000.

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
